I didn't see any fuel and there are holes in the side, also don't those fans need to be balanced perfectly? Quite a bit of rattling when bolted together, real jet rpms would tear it apart, if I had to guess it only runs by the electric motor.

Yea as cool as it is it's not real jet engine that runs off fuel that's why the wires are coming around it to the control module that probably has batteries in it to make it turn faster and what not a real one would have alot more parts that's for sure and be crazy more expensive lol but it's still cool though if it didn't cost so much id def like to build it

This is only meant to be an open engine to show all working parts, when you see all the compressor blades these would all be enclosed since this is where massive pressure is built, then massive air and exhaust pressure is blasted through rear blades which turns front fan, for control of all this you would need much more electronics, and everything would be sealed, but this is so impressive for a see through working turbofan engine

Doesn'r say what engine it is. Could be a GE90 or 100, a P|&W JT9D 7R4D, Maybe a CFM6, but it can't be a Roller. Rollers are three spool, this is two. The Trent 900 or 1000 have three spools, the centre one of which rotates counter clockwise to the inner and outer spools. Nice model though, great for instruction.
