I haven't welded in over 30 years, and I SUCKED! But I remember learning how to weld...bead after bead after bead after bead...and then welding a 90... sigh. Keep it up. Your welds are much better than mine ever were.

Not sure if they did it off camera, but just wiping that aluminum down with acetone would help out a lot..properly you would do quite a bit of cleaning, but in this application some acetone would go a long way…

85lbs of boost through a 5ek hahahaha crank will snap or you’ll window the block before that. 5ek and 6ts 3406e blocks are left over b model blocks. They have the holes for the cam in the block. You’ll crack the block anything north of 800hp unless it’s a 70pin 1lw or 2ws.

Seeing those radiators and how well they are built reminded me of when I told my brother not to buy a cheap radiator just because it's cheaper. And he did anyway, It was brand new ordered off the internet, it came with a 24-month warranty, and was less than half the price of a decent well known name brand. He had it "overnighted" and it took 3 days to get there, and like what y'all talked about in the video it was so light, it weighed like half as much as the factory radiator. And needless to say, the side blew out of it about 7 months later. BUT! It had that 2-year warranty, right? lmao! Yes, It did, but he had to take it out and box it up and pay to have it shipped back to get it warrantied. lol.

That custom truck is bad ass but it deserves a really nicely built blower or twin turbo or both engine sitting in its frame pushing 1000 hp.

How about trying it with the golf ball launcher adapter?

I don’t currently need a radiator,but definitely need that can launcher.

I was taught if a engine back fires and catches fire like that to keep cranking it to suck in the flames and it will go out but if the flames are too far away from the carb it’s not going to help

Think torch welding but instead of gas using electricity. Make sure you can see. Cheat on aluminum is to soot the plate so you can see the molten puddle.
