Didn't even know they could be installed wrong, congrats on finding the issue. It's actually wild you had someone else who had experience with the same issue, you could have chased that for weeks. Good to have friends around!
Both of you did the cams thats the problem you installed one and he installed the other . Glad you was able to figure it out.
