    ODDs are 5.25, HDDs/SSDs are 3.5/2.5 inch (SSDs are only 2.5, some HDDs like notebook ones are 2.5, and the now defunct series WD Raptor - 10K RPM were 2.5 too)

    Been going back and forth between this case, an O11, and the NZXT 7 flow. Thanks for your really in depth vids (more than other bigger channels) help me pick. Cos you know I really appreciate you taking a look at that usb header , and the dust filter. Keep going!! Your channel will grow, the algorithm is working for ya right now!

    I just bought this case and was trying to figure out what to do with those fans, and also wondering how everyone just kept them in that case (I personally have a Mobo without a 5V RGB Header). This is the only Video where someone explains and shows that there is a RGB Header in the case itself. Thank you so much for saving me the headache and probably some money since I was about to order a 3 Pack of Corsair Fans to match my other ones. You get my sub!

    In my opinion best budget case for 280mm top rad. That extra space, a lot of clearance for 12VHPWR cable and huge video cards or even massive air CPU coolers. It's really good stuff.

    Having just bought that case, I will say that I don't plan on using any of the fans. Sure: They come with the case and you *can* use them, but looking at their stats, I'd rather have Fractal include way less fans but more capable ones. These things top out at 1200 RPM, which, for a large-ish airflow case, just isn't enough IMO. I might use two of the 120s for push/pull on my radiator, but I doubt it'd do much good, seeing how little air these things will move. Just to put things into perspective: The 120mm Iceberg Thermal RGB that I use as my rear exhaust runs at up to 2200 RPM and will move triple the amount of air that the cheaper Fractal fans do (54 vs 159 m³/h). The cheapest bequiet! PureWings 2 120mm (~ €/$8 a pop over here) spins at 1500 RPM and will move around 85 m³/h. And those bequiets are entry level fans that are optimized for noise, not throughput.

    Actually really appreciate this comment. I'm about to finally construct a gaming PC of my dreams, but the fan speed (1200 rpm) on this case was really underwhelming to me. A three pack of the icebergs you mentioned is only $55, so I'll look to replace my rear exhaust & 2 of the case fans with that. Is it wide/large enough to accommodate a CPU cooler like the Thermalright Phantom Spirit along with a RTX 4080, do you think?

    So I have a question, are the back RGB only made for 4 fans or can I add 2 more? Or do I need to use the ARGB on the MB?

  • @MWcrazyhorse
    @MWcrazyhorse7 ай бұрын

    I had fractal fans. They're fine. Silent, good speeds. Don't move as much air as a noctua, lower static pressures, but perfectly fine for a solid flow build.

    i watched another review where they added a front filter and tested , results no significant reduction in dust prevention big reduction in air flow, so no filter is better for this design.

    Nice video. If you have one optical drive installed how many 3.5 HDDs can you have installed at the same time? I guess the official site answered my question: Up to four HDDs and six SSDs (or three HDDs and five SSDs with one optical bay in use)
