I Broke the World's Longest Manual Record, Then Donated $1 for EVERY SECOND I could MANUAL!

The concept is simple: Come up with a skate challenge for yourself, film yourself doing the challenge, then make a donation to a cause you care about! Or, apply this to any hobby you love, and challenge yourself to do something you've never done before!
Charities I donated to:
- "The Skatepark Project" (skatepark.org/)
- "Skateistan" (skateistan.org/)
I happen to like manuals, but some other ideas are:
- $10 for every stacked board you can ollie over
- $1 for every foot you can push
- $5 for every different skatepark you can go to within the next few days
- $1 for every consecutive trick you can land
- $10 for every day you can land a tre flip within the next week
If you did a challenge and want me to hear about it, tag me on insta: @regular.jason and feel free to contact me on insta for inquiries as well :)
Check out my "Skate Basics Tutorials" playlist for trick tips, including a manual tutorial :D

I'd only have to manual for about a minute to be broke 😅. This is a great idea

Nah, maybe today you'd donate $1, but one day you'll have manuals on lock

It’s awesome that you are donating to charity but I don’t understand the concept. You yourself are donating a dollar for every second you yourself can manual? I feel like it would make more sense to find other people to pledge to donate a certain dollar amount for every second you manual and if you really want to donate you can do that as well. Like I said I think it’s great you are donating and I’m not trying to hate on you. I’ve just never heard of somebody creating a challenge for themself to do in order to make a donation themself. Maybe it’s more common than I am aware of but idk. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I noticed the same thing! I've done charity events and this isn't really the most beneficial way to do it. It's like the intent was there but the execution robs the charities out of money.

Just wanted to point out you broke the "Guinness" record but not the ACTUAL world record. World record was like 4 minutes and 2.17 km literally 10 times further than. Guinness. Might want to make that clear next time as it could be misleading even if it's for a good cause.
