Third fill did it for me 💯 just got more ideas from the second fill already 😅 time to get on the kit... also love the detail from the bonus, just discovered that my left hand is most times beneath while playing crossovers, time to switch things up 😂

It's depends on what you're wanting to do with cross overs. Left hand going beneath is actually going to be suitable more times than right hand going beneath.

Nice second fill…but the sub division doesn’t add up to form 6/8 bars…or any bars … so technically doesn’t work…but somehow you seem to make it work when you play it against a grove! 🤷

How do you build confidence on drums to play all these fills
@jameshaynes6873
10 ай бұрын
write it out, play them slowly and playing it in different note rates and making inversion of the lick helps create a different sounding lick but is still the same just started in a different place but, this takes time. Mason Guidry told me once don't try to master the instrument but master your mind and that will clear up a lot of our issues of confidence behind the kit and what, when, how, and why when we are behind the kit .
