This brought back great memories....my wife purchased a bunch of wedding dress while our girls were just entering teens .....she carefully took them apart giving her wedding dress fabric she would never be able to buy. She then designed 2 separate different dresses for each daughter matching thier personality and figure. They each walked down the aisle in a one of a kind wedding dress wrapped in thier mothers love ...oh by the way they both were given the option of this or 3000 towards a new gown .

As someone who works in the bridal industry, I have a hard time believing these are returns. All of them are pretty old styles and the original tags are still on most of them. It feels more like old runway samples. Most of them are really pretty though!

My mom used to live at the town where Pronovias factory is located. She didn't have quite a big budget for her wedding, so she decided to literally knock at the factory's door to see if they had any sample they were going to get rid off. The ladies were super kind of showing her around and letting her pick for super cheap the one she liked the most, plus gifted her the arrangement to make it fit perfectlt!!!

The first dress from the last box, with the blush ribbon around the waist, is the exact dress that April Kepner wore for her wedding when she ran away with Jackson on Grey's Anatomy. I'm certain it is, because I did a lot of research, and bought a very very similar one for my wedding. And then subsequently altered it until it was unrecognizable...(long story)

My wedding dress originally was priced at $17,000. The Bridal Store dropped it to a $7,000. I bought it from them for $3,500. Feel so proud of myself! lol It is truly an amazing feeling when you can drop some pricing for a wedding dress. They are tooo expensive!

My wedding dress was one of these “leftover” and outdated dresses. I bought it for $99.99 - late 1980s-, replaced the long sleeves with a wide width expensive lace -$30-, and spent another $12 for some nice beads to make it look stylish. My mom helped me with the modifications and I enjoyed it.

For my daughter's first wedding she went to a certain bridal shop because they had the dress she had found in a bridal magazine. She was certain it was "the" dress but when she got there & tried it on it looked more like a prom dress. The full price on it was $800. She tried on a few more but ended up picking one off the sale rack for $99 because it was the previous year's style. Who cares! She got the dress, shoes, & veil for $250 total, which my mom paid. That was back in 2007. Her 2nd time around which was last year I bought her gown which was $2,200 and she bought the veil which was $265. She bought rose gold Tieks flats to wear because they have the blue bottom which was her "something blue". Those were $200. A lot more expensive the 2nd time around.

Way to Go! Upcycling is all the rage now. Did you know that polyester is like plastic? It doesn't decompose like cotton would in a landfill.

I made my wedding dress. Not another like it in the world. Simple lines. It fit me perfectly. Cost? In 1972, less than $30, including fabric, lining, hand crocheted cotton lace sleeve and bodice trim, zipper, thread, neckline interfacing, and sewing machine needles. Our local fabric shop discounted sales to brides.

I don’t watch any beauty KZreadrs or anything really like this, but a couple of months ago my Mom suddenly passed away and she was my best friend and I was her caregiver and life has been pretty rotten lately I find myself having panic attacks and my anxiety is a constant but when my meds haven’t kicked in and I need to get my mind in a better place I watch some of your videos. I was a bridal consultant for a year in the early 1980's during the Priscilla of Boston years with Jim Helm as one of her designers. It was an expensive department store and we only had sample wedding and bridesmaid gowns to order from and try on. Your order reminds me of the samples. They were almost all size 8 with just a few in smaller and larger sizes. The costs ranged for wedding gowns from $200-$5000 with the majority of them being around $500-600. Costs have certainly gone up. The bridesmaid dresses were $80-$140. Since I was the sample size, I was sometimes put in the dress to show the bride if she really could not put it on due to her size. That was fun. I bought lots of the discontinued bridesmaid dresses that were cute and wore them to weddings and parties. I was a bridesmaid in NINE weddings so had lots of bridesmaid dresses to do something with. Some of them I just cut off for a short dress and some were just too bad to wear again. One became a Halloween costume. You might order a big box of bridesmaid dresses for a video. That would be fun and terrifying! ha ha

This is so much fun. It would be amazing to see these cleaned and repaired, and donated to charities which provide/loan dresses to women getting married last minute with a terminal illness (or their groom) or other women affected by really difficult circumstances. Some try to run weddings in-house but, if they don't, they should be able to give you the details of any charities they use when asked to arrange a wedding last-minute. They'll definitely be able to point you in the right direction. Hope that helps 💕

Yes my friend has one, he started it after he lost his love to cancer, but not before he gave her a beautiful wedding. He now pays it forward to others in the same situation. I bought my dream wedding dress in China. Of course I wasn't sure if it would be as wonderful as I thought. It was customized without more cost in plus size 26 W... Purple Satin, much bling bling and embroydery and it fits perfect ❣️ I paid including shipping from China to Germany less than 180 Euro 💝💝💝

This was so much fun to watch. I’m 62 years old and I never had a wedding dress and I swear I’m tempted to do the exact same thing just for the heck of it! 😂😂😂

It's crazy to think that anyone would pay the original price for these dresses except maybe the $500 one. My favorites were the white dangle art deco dress and the blush dress for a formal party and the sheer top with appliques and the pink sash dress for a wedding. These 4 dresses, in my opinion, made the boxes worth the money.

It's the dress April Kepner runs away with Jackson in in grey anatomy(she just didn't wear the blush bow) I wanted it for my wedding, and couldn't find it anywhere for under $5k in 2016. That dress alone maybe this box more than worth the price. She could EASILY re sell that one and get the money back, likely doubled.

started watching your videos with the miniature things(8/27/2023) then just went to your channel. Then I found myself binge-watching your videos on your pallet hauls LOL. By far I love this one with the wedding dresses the most! I still have mine from my previous marriage and thought of getting a few others and doing some photo shoots as I am a freelance beginner photographer and want to do some relaxed and elegant pictures(I've done mostly landscape and wildlife and just expanding and got to do my first wedding shoot last October). Maybe I can find some friends to model for me who are different sizes and shapes. Thanks for sharing your wonderful finds. the dresses were all beautiful! Well that was fun!!! My favorite was the one with the pink sash. It had such a feminine 50s vibe! But the blush color one is exactly the color I want if my boyfriend and I ever actually get married.... considering we both wear wedding rings love together raised our 2 kids together and call each other husband and wife in not sure if we will ever actually do that. (We both had difficult 1st marriages) but that blush is stunning for a 2nd wedding!

You do know that making your commitment legal doesn't turn relationship bad? :p (i lol when people say their relationship will last if they don't make it legal) It doesn't magically put spell on you. Of course you are thinking "what if this doesn't last" and if you have already gone thru one awful one..you are cautious. Since you have kids, i do recommend you either get married or go thru legal paperwork so everything is set if something bad happens to either one of you. World is full of examples where remaining partner/parent has been screwed up and life been much more difficult for them and kids when their SO suddenly dies and no paperwork, no marriage. Anyways, I liked that dress too! ...tho I'd have hard time imagining myself in any fluffy traditional dress so mine was half price white dress from local clothing store.

Don’t feel like you have to get married, legally or in a big ceremony. You can if you want but it doesn’t matter either way. My friend’s parents decided not to get married but they’ve probably been together 20 years and have 3 kids together. They’re a happy family but getting married just wasn’t what they wanted. My parents did get married and have been happily married for 21 years after a wedding in an English castle. Big wedding or no wedding you can still be happy, just make the choice that best fits you and your family.

@@rachelcookie321 yeah of course you choose what makes you happy. And of course people can live happily in loving relationship without legal commitment and it isn't any less. I just want to point out that people should get their legal papers in order otherwise if they don't get married to be sure other one/kids are secured.. Especially when you have kids. If you are not married and no paperwork, you may not be able to do medical decision for your SO if they have siblings/parents. Also, at least here, you cannot get any access to bank accounts so how you deal if mortgage is on dead spouse's name and you don't have access to that account? Of course if you are both so steady and established that you won't get financially screwed over, that's fine. But I'd guess for many it's living from joint money and suddenly other part is yoinked away. Death/hospitalization is basically the only situations where non-married couples can get screwed big time and most of us foolishly never think that something bad might happen. That illness, accidents and sudden deaths always happen to someone else. There was famous Swedish author, who was in relationship with same woman for +20yrs, never married but very solid and obviously whole life was together. He suddenly died of heart attack and his family came, booted her out of their apartment, changed locks and all his wealth went to his parents/siblings. Idk did she manage to sue his family and get something. Another close case I know that father of children died in car accident, kids were beneficiary of life insurance, which was great... Except the money was under state, mother couldn't get access to account because they were not married. So every time she had to buy something for kids, she needed to make formal request with explained details why and where money is needed and also needs to show receipt.

@@staceydailey6394 the legal part is for security when things get bad tbh. Imagine everything in your SOs name, you contribute to it because you both consider it as joint "and who owns it on paper". Then one day he tells you to get the f out and you have nothing because he has everything. Or he dies without will (because legal contracts suck right?) and his siblings get the house and tell you to get the f out. It's not for the good times, its for thr bad mostly

The blush one and the "garden" one with the sash were my favorites. So pretty!

Many of these dresses were probably returned because they were bought online and on arrival the ladies weren’t a fan. It happens more often than leaving a guy *at the altar* for sure. I’m currently planning my wedding and I am constantly seeing ads for unworn gowns that women bought who just didn’t like them and never wore them!

This was one of my favorites liquidators boxes yet! So fun to see all the wedding dresses. Also so happy for you and what is coming - can't wait until the 23rd :)

I am doing my oldest daughter’s wedding. I am amazed at the crazy prices of the dress for her. She,she likes a certain look no so on. I love to do others weddings. Just tell me what colors and vibe your going for boom I get it done…. I love to for fun doing my friend flowers and all that stuff. 🥰🥰🥰

I adore the one with the pink bow, its sooo cute! some of these maybe could be dyed and made into gala or prom dresses.

5:59 is my favorite so far, funny how price really doesn't determine taste. As in: which is more or less expensive doesn't define which I like. That's a cool thing, I think. Probably relatable tho. Right?

I love that 2nd dress!! And the Little Bo Peep with the pink ribbon you tied around your waste.

I just go to bits over the pink one. Wear it whenever you can. It's so perfect. Prom, someone else's wedding, bridesmaid, new years' Valentines' day. It is just awesome. I wonder if other dresses could be dyed and altered into more flexible form wear as well. What fun!

100% Silk will take dye. Synthetics will not.

@@valkyriesardo278 I know that's not entirely true. I've died fake synthetic fur with a purchased dye made for synthetics. Dyes for synthetic DO exist, although how any genera dye will interact with any given fabric perhaps would involve some testing, before dying an entire valued garment.

The first dress from the third box was my absolute favorite. The ODL dresses were both ridiculous. People pay big bucks for the name, but forget the lack of taste or style. Nice video. Glad you got out of that dress!!!

This was a fun watch! You and your husband are adorable. Thank you i really enjoyed this and you looked so lovely in most of them.

Hands down the $500.00 dress was the best one! It's not always about what somethings costs that makes it beautiful.

I paid 99$ for my wedding dress on clearance of floor samples 😂 I was a size 0 back then so it was easy to find something from floor sample. No longer a size 0 though that's why I started watching Hope's videos a few months ago to get into working out again 😊

Okay, this is the 3rd video I've watched, I'm subscribing, you are amazing, the edit, the commenting and just overall good energy y'all give!

I bought mine from Wish in the early days of the app. It was gorgeous in the pictures and for the price, I couldn't pass it up. So I did some research and realized I couldn't touch it for less than 9k in a shop. So I ordered and was absolutely gobsmacked when I was contacted by the vendor for my measurements and 2 subsequent consults. It arrived in a dress box wrapped in muslin. It was even more beautiful IRL! Cathedral length watteau trane, bling encrusted and corseted bustle. My granddaughters are fighting over who gets my gown.😊😊

I feel like I need to say the following after reading “down the line” comments... It’s true, you are just so much fun to watch. I love your positive attitude and hilarity! Thank you for doing what you do!

You can totally natural dye the dress from 6:45 with earthy pink or grey or green. You can totally wear it to a friends wedding. It looks like the material is sleek enough to fit into a big pot from the kitchen.

Honestly having just bought my wedding dress this box was a steal. Even if you only liked 1 and need to get married it's cheaper then every other dress I've seen
