I bought this Chinese Bobber to Modify. LETS CHOP!

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

This bike is a weird one. A bike you can buy on Amazon, that comes in a big box direct from China.
I managed to get my hands on one and plan on chopping it in a guilty free manor! They call it a Zeths and only being a 250cc it's an unusual motorcycle.
Help me by letting me know what you think I should do to this thing!

I like the direction this is heading. It has old chopper vibes already. Solid move mounting the battery/electrics in a oil reservoir. I would love see some harley drag style exhausts and everything blacked out. Definitely better bars. Even possibly a different tank to fill that gap between the current tank and the headstock/bars as it looks massive from some angles. But so far so good 👍 nice job

Hiya, I'm new to you're channel, the build is probably why it was suggested. It certainly sounds like it's an old bobber on the start up so you might want to beef up the starter motor and open up those exhausts but I must insist you get a better seat like a spring seat. I am intrigued by this! I built a Bobber from a 250 Virago last year, but chickened out of the hard tail😅. With this, at least there isn't 30 years of road grime and rust to deal with! I bet the engine is based on the Yam 250 v-twin or similar, that too had ridiculously small exhaust headers 😂. I bought some shorty pipes off eBay that sounded great. Good luck and enjoy - who cares where it comes from, something like this can be altered and chopped about with abandon.

Liking the mods so far. I'd consider thick leather caps on the ends of the silly can, half battery and half toolbox (room depending). Maybe side-mounted license plate (I know yours are monsters but whatever). Smallest light set possible rear. Narrower bars good idea but not too much. Bar-end mirrors, LED headlight with indicators brought back to the stock, Nix the reflector and add a huge speedo (maybe too much cost though). I don't hate the exhaust TBH - maybe wrap the headers before the cans. Brade the brake lines in stainless sheath. Carbon fiber disk on the air filter center with polished surround. I'm not a fan of murals on tanks but a cool 80's retro paint job could be nice (Gen X'er - can't help it). Not sure of you're going to the frame but if so, chrome it - wild! This thing is cool anyway - I like cheaper fun bikes as much as the expensive ones. New sub 🙂

Design wise, mini apes 10 to 12 inches would help. Plus, assuming that is an odd diameter bar, the more standard size new bars open up what controls you can run. Also, with the mini apes, a tank lift wouldn't be wrong and should be really easy to fab. I would also figure out the foot controls. If you are ok with riding mids, go that route. If not, a better quality forward. Also, a few people are knocking on doing this to a Chinese bike. Why not? It's cheap to get into, and you aren't ruining a good bike if you mess up. I guarantee that decently done, it will get more talk than a more expensive stock bike at a bike night/ bar.

I really don't think you need to do too much, in fact I would of kept the rear mudguard a little longer so you could of added a rack, but then I'm always wanting more practicality on my motorcycles. Will be interesting to get an idea of costs involved against choosing an old classic to convert.
