A buddy of mine is supposed to send me a adaptor that does this but it’s like 250 bucks.. do you have a link to this? I’ve seen the thunderbolt to gigabit but that’s not 10 gigabit

I bought a Macbook pro with the m1 and immediately regretted it. Although I completely love it, I wish I would have waited for 2nd or even 3rd gen silicon chip. Ill be using it for now but will be gifting it to my mom once a macbook redesign comes out. I wouldve gone with a mini since my 2012 mini was dying, but I had already built a PC. That sketch was everything ! DAMNIT JOHNSON !

I knew I would be buying the next Gen 27” iMac or whatever they call it. So the Mac Mini was always going to be a transition machine..‘I just wish it wasn’t potentially worth nothing when I’m ready to get the iMac.. lol.. Thanks for the kind words about the sketch.. I got the idea from a channel called Camera Conspiracy..

Most consumers barely have 100 Mbps let alone anything that can take advantage of 10 Gbps so it's an upgrade meant for professionals with heavy networking needs which is pretty niche. Not surprised they launched without it but sure, that sucks for those who needed it. I bought too early as well but only because I want MORE graphics cores. So I'll trade it in this Fall and write off the difference on my taxes.

Good point…. It was something I was actually really wanted…. But I’m without again… lol… I will be updating to the next Gen iMac when they release it.. I know that will have the correct ethernet then…. I hope.. loll

Do what I did; sold it on ebay and order one with16GB 256 10 ethernet. Consider the 2tb was way overpriced! They just went x on the first value for the 512, was 256 gb x 2 and that’s the price for the 512 gb drive; then for the 1tb drive, they charged on the cost of 256gb x 4 for = 1 tb drive price; & for the 2tb since it has the equivalent of eight 256 drives, multiply it and came with the price! No discount on buying memory volume! Do the math!

I was thinking about selling it.. I wanted the extra space because when I edit a video I can get about to about 300-400 GB for the project. I also wanted some space on the drive for other stuff too.. Blender, Photoshop etc… They certainly don’t make it value driven when you up the storage. I also have a really good external SSD and the speeds are still 4 times slower..

This is going to happen, all technology moves foward!

Yeah I know… but 3 months? 🤣🤣

I still feel like the M1 chips are super powerful and will have a long use life, much like iPhones and iPads. I have the base M1 MacBook Air and it rivals, in some ways, my 27” i9 iMac with 64GB of RAM. I’m on the other end where I’m trying to figure out if I should keep the iMac or trade it in while it’s still worth something. Great presentation on the video. Keep it up.

I almost pulled the trigger on the m1 a few months back, now I’m glad I didn’t, however is there any proof of this Mac mini pro/ m1x / m2 actually going to be released? Can you link me?

@@yianniandroid4375 if the person in question was my editor he would now be fired because of this comment. Paying someone to edit your content is a private business decision meant to produce more and better content. It is not meant to promote the editor. It is possible Micheal does not want people to know if someone else edits his content, and if that was the case there is nothing wrong with that decision. I personally know he has no problem with people knowing that some of his content is edited by others. In this case I can personally attest that he edited the video because I helped him with qc all along the process. This sort of comment reduces the likelihood that your editor friend will get more jobs. No KZreadr wants to deal with unprofessional fanboy bs in their comments. You are hurting your friend, not helping dude. There are a thousand other people willing to edit, and get paid without that hassle.
