“The quad got a splinter”….ok that got me.
I had a buddy with a Polaris ranger that drove a stick that same size in his tank by accident, I pulled it and plastic welded it with the harbor freight plastic welder (cheapest one) came with screen to melt in then layer plastic over it. So far been over a year and working great, keep up the content guys!
MBRP just gives you rumble and roar without the excessive noise
I'd just replace the fuel tank. Get a used one off a totaled machine that's in good shape. It'll be easier then repairs being done to the one you have

Maybe the 'stick' got impaled into the fuel tank and they just left it in there!
