8.5k , what a great price. How he has not sold it for a higher price I don’t know but as someone said it’s niche product. George would be a fantastic ambassador and reviewer for your channel. You’ve met some nice people along the way but he’s the best. Get him on board. I know they say don’t mix your hobby with your job but he’s way to passionate and knowledgeable about cars to not be working in the industry.

What a genuine car guy. A real credit to him. I'd def buy a car off him, you'd know it'll be pukka. Wish more people shared this passion and OCD

As a life long Ford fan, this should be a 20k car. Unfortunately it isn't at the present time, but definitely will be if kept the same in the future. An outstanding car, the owner should be beyond proud. 👌

Too clean to use, even down the road. Needs to be in a museum or bought by Ford. Amazing thought has gone into this build.

@@ScottPC You're right. Unless they're prepared to revert it OEM spec as the exterior and interior looks so clean. Even the owner of this even used a microfiber cloth to change gear at times.

What an amazing job. That looks bloody fantastic. Absolutely perfect for a little cruise on a dry summer day. Not sure that putting it on POD is the right move though. The chances of it being won by someone who will cherish it are bloody slim compared to the likelihood it will be won by someone who just thought they would have a go because its free. Such a shame

Can't believe I've stumbled upon this gem of a video. I'm attempting to go down the exact same route with my ST500 that I picked up for pennies in 2018 now I've saved enough to fully restore it and modify it. It's only covered 30k in it's lifetime, I bought it with 26k on the clock. I'm getting it up to around 320bhp (basically getting as much out of the stock turbo as I can safely) and making as much as I can underneath as mint as I can. I'm waiting for prices on full polybush and powdercoating underneath, but I'm opting for uprated hardrace front and rear wishbones/arms and keeping the brakes relatively stock for now, it's got EBC discs and pads and the calipers are just standard. Seeing this motivates me so much, you could eat your dinner of the underside of this! I cannot wait to be in a similar position, however I will probably never sell the car. I've come to terms with the fact I'll probably own it as long as I possibly can

It might be an old Focus ST, but it’s an absolute credit to the previous owner and there truly isn’t many people who are this dedicated to the cause!

That ST is unbelievable, I'm a huge focus fan and I have to say THANK YOU George for doing that to this spectacular car . Cal big respect to you for the give away , I will not be entering this giveaway as I do not have a drive or garage so it would be unfair to park this beauty on the road .

I wasn't looking to buy a car when this was on the market but had I known about it I'd have gladly handed over £12k for it and that's still not enough! It has to be worth between £15 and £20k to the right collector or Ford fan, it's basically a brand new almost 20yr old car!

This guy is the same as me lol. I bought a Golf R Mk7.5 8 months ago with sub 20k miles on the clock and then spent then entire time putting right every little detail that made my OCD go through the roof so much so that I cannot enjoy the car. it sits in my garage as a monument to my insanity, and it still only has 21k on the clock but its immaculate. I will take 30k for it .. hahaha. id be much happier in a crappy E30 drift car tbh where my mind can rest and not worry about every little detail.

what a mint st …defo a concours car tbh , own a concours series 1 rs turbo myself , so the effort needed to reach this level of cleanliness is silly hrs of tinkering …well done that man ..

I’ve had 2 pre facelifts and a facelift mint cars… this is one is unreal 😍

I think it's an experience thing. Like I'm 8k+ deep into mods/upgrades on my 3 MPS and although I wouldn't change a thing because I've enjoyed learning about all the things along the way and the experience of working on it to that degree, if I decided to get another one later down the line, I'd definitely spend a bit extra initially for one that's already had the work done. 😅 It's the enthusiast life I suppose, so many others can relate. That ST is a legit gem though.

Madness the amount of effort and money he's put into that to then sell it.

I love the idea of doing this to a car, but I hate the feeling of not wanting to drive it to try and preserve it… happened to me with a 12 year old boxster I got in perfect condition, I felt awful driving it as much as I was but after taking it 2500 miles across Europe it has bug splats, stone chips etc and now I just enjoy it so much more without worrying as much as I used to

What a beautiful example. I had a 5 pot for a while and the sound from the engine is so addictive, it was just too thirsty for me to keep

That car is begging for Full Car PPF to protect the paint from chips and scratches. If you’ve spent that much on a beautiful example now you gotta get it protected surely! Be 3/4 grand so well spent 🙌🏻

What a build mines going to go through the same process I've cars currently at matt Lewis for engine rebuild when I get mine back ill fully underseal car powder coat all suspension and subframes. To me this car inspiration for me I thank you both for sharing it 😊

one of if not the best cars ever made when Ford owned Volvo the 5cyl Volvo engine in the Ford made the Ford awesome. It's nice to see people protecting and rebuilding these, I may not be a Ford fan after a Ford dealer treated me so bad I would never own a new Ford ever again I am a fan of the Volvo 5cyl engine such an underrated thing, beautiful car tho

I'm not going to lie and say I'm one of your wry first subscribers..but I have been subbed for a while and always watching your videos as they are original and not faked persona...real life real situations..I'd love this car,I lost alot via a toxic relationship,I had a 2 audi's,one was a show car,dead as a door nail and a 2012 Sline remapped to 210hp...diesel..but I preferred the audi I bought after that,an sline 2005 in VXR blue and 19inch stretched tiresand cut springs and cherry bomb sound with the schoooooo sound....I loved that more than my fast new 2010 sline (this was in 2013)....loved the look and sound but wouldn't pull you out of bed...if I could afford to put money in to win this focus I would do it multiple times..but I'm broke,sorry...love your content,keep it up..love from Ireland mate
