I think this is my friends nintendo wii his dad was smoking and his lighter fell on the wii while we were playing mario kart wii and he sold it on a random website for like 15 bucks someone must have resold it

I brought a Wii 5 years ago for 5 dollars at a yard sale. It came in its original box and had cables and even some accessories. They said it “Sometimes doesn’t work”. I’ve never had a problem with it. They must have been talking about apps like KZread not working anymore. This is the best bargain I’ve ever scored.

I was at a bargain store where I found this exact Wii with all the cables, sensor bar, two Wii remotes, two nunchucks, and 5 games ( FIFA 13, Star Wars, Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort and Wii Play) for 15 dollars. Took it home, got it cleaned up, reset the console and boom. Basically works like new. Play a ton of Mario Kart and Wii Sports Resort on it.

I had my lil mask up n errythang ✨🥰 yk how the heist go. 😋 i had consistently, menacingly, and frighteningly threatend errybody with warning shots if i didnt get what i demanded. which also was a nice cotton threaded, blue walmart shopping bag with all the games they can grab quickly and toss in there. so to my success i got it all and dipped on tf outta there. 🏃‍♂️💨 Omw ousside to the p-lot i found a family loading up a plastic bag in their cart at checkout witha Wii innit. 😳 i thot to myself, is this an ong moment? a bruh moment? a fr moment? or a on my daddy grave moment? i decided to go and finesse it outta em. 😈😈😤🥶💯But to my luck there was also games in the bag that had the wii. 😱🔥💯games dat da trembling, shaking, & horrified employees didn’t get to throw in cus of the panic and hurry. I jus gotta say how lucky i got that day mane😮‍💨, God is good fr fr, no cap, omm yuurr me?❤️❤️🙏🙌blessup🙌✨ 👍

I picked up a Wii recently at an Estate sale with 5 working Wii Remotes for $25 dollars. It was in good condition but was missing the Wii doors on top and over the SD card. However I found some high quality replacements on Etsy and now it looks good as new

Tip: use 1 & 2 buttons to sync without the sync button.

Guys, the Wii wasn't burned, it was just beated to death by the Wiimote!

I'm pretty sure you can use the USPS packaging as packing material, you just can't use a service not written on the package to mail it. But since it's inside a box and not visible it's technically never been used and is thus fine.

I'd agree, but I think there's definitely an ethical dilemma there if someone is consistently using those envelopes as packaging, since they're free and not meant for that purpose

Actually, I just read online that it's prohibited to use usps flat rate envelopes as packing material. Probably unlikely to be caught, but it's not a chance I'd take

For refrence since video doesent englighten fully, wii models go as follows: 1.Original launch batch and models before they got rid the 6 layered design. These are all generally white and you can tell its in this category by opening the battery cover at the bottom and looking what number is in there. If its anything bellow 40 its in this category. These are fine to have but they have the most inferior CD reader and over heating problems. 2. A revised model of the wii. Loses the 6 layered design and goes to 4 layered. All future models are 4 layered after this. Generally all colored (black and red) wiis that still have gamecube parts belong in this category. Some rare white ones are in here too and only way to tell its this one is opening the battery cover and checking the number. If its 40 or above its this model. This model is the most sought after since it has improved CD reader, is much cooler internally and consumes less power among many of its features. 3. What this video has. Basically nintendo took out the gamecube parts. Still fine i guess if you dont care about the gamecube parts. These come in all colors and easiest way to tell is just realising no gamecube parts. 4. Wii mini. A meme.

could already see this was a later revision (without gamecube ports) from the labels on the front. first model had vertical labels as it was intended to mount on the stand that came in the box.

they called these wii systems without gamecube support the WII Family Edition i believe they were cheaper and they also came with the motion plus controller

Dude I recently took a gamble and bought a Wii for 19 dollars on eBay and said “not tested for parts” and it works better than my main Wii so that was pretty sick. And it was GameCube compatible

Just bought a complete wii with all cords, sensor bar, one nunchuk, and a wiimote. Came with disc only copies of wii sports, wii sports resort, and twilight princess. It is a gamecube compatible wii. All for 40 bucks 👍. Seems like a good score, works perfect from what I can tell. My question is how warm should it run and how noisy? I've never owned a wii before.

With softmod you could bring back most of Wii channels like forecast, news etc.

This is the future speaking. We do have a Wii Sports for the Switch. It doesn't look too good, but not too bad, either.

Turnd out Nintendo forgot to remove traces of the GameCube out of the software when making the Wii Family Edition, luckily they did remove that with the Wii U and Wii mini.

I found one of those exact models except it was white in a thrift store for about €15 including a really fucked up remote and all its cables, but I already have 2 GameCubes that have GameCube support so I genuinely didn’t really want it. It is the best thing I’ve found at a thrift store so far

I'm from the UK and have a Red Wii and only got it a few months ago Its definitely worth playing it just to mod it, put N64 game's, Gamecube and emulators with Homebrew, honestly alot better than I thought for what this console can actually do... I recommend havjng a modded Wii

I once got a Wii for (I think) around $20 because the disc drive was broken. Homebrewed it and hooked up my hard drive with games on it and boom

I bought my Wii from eBay this week, and I know that it's a little bit scratches but it's working. Though I have to buy AV cable from eBay as well I'm only got the console

that Wii came out with 4.3 version, it has no support for Gamecube stuff but has no changes in the software, that's why it has gamecube saved files viewer

Brooo i bought a fully functional wii for 15€ and it is very clean, and it was with the cables (ac adapter , composite video and sensor bar), 2 wiimotes and one has the wii motion plus, the stand, 2 games (wii sports and some other game) and even a wheel

i just bought a wii for about $64 (3,500 php) , it's modded and it inclued 2 remotes 2 nunchucks, a 320GB HDD and all the cables.

For anyone that keeps it stock, yea. With Nintendont the 2nd model Wii will play GameCube games and has the benefit of being a newer Wii so the components have not aged as much as a launch Wii for example.

I can tell you, a sitting pipe does not stay hot long enough to melt plastic like that. If I had to put money on it, I'd say someone put lit cigarettes on it.

Im glad we have the white wii instead of black. It just looks better i have to say. But its strange, black wii's are rarer than white, and for the wii U, you find the black ones than the white ones. I guess white looks more better or something? Who knows....
