I BOUGHT THE CHEAPEST RANGE ROVER SPORT TDV8

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

I bought this Range Rover sport Tdv8 to flip for a profit! Range rovers aren’t maybe the most reliable cars but it’s risk that’s payed off!

    There is another way you can do the oil change without going under the car, you can drain it through the dipstick tube using one of the canister pumps they hold about 9 litres and they're about £70

    There's a lot of money to be made on Range rovers. People slate them but I love mine, its a 4.4 petrol LPG hybrid and does about 30mpg on a good run. Once you learn a bit about them they are easy to work on by yourself

    Yeah that’s true people say they aren’t reliable they might not be wrong but I do like them! I don’t think they’re as bad as they’re made out to be half the time if they’re looked after! That’s good though especially on a 4.4 petrol! I can see what you mean my biggest fear though would be if engine or box was to go they weigh a ton 🫠

    I actually got mine off eBay, the guy I bought it off said there was a gearbox issue and it wouldn't go into gear. I googled the problem and it turns out there is a little black lever tucked away under the gear shift selector. I pulled up the lever heard a click and the selector moved through all gears no problems. He had it up for £2k as spares or repairs I paid £1.300.

  • @hughmarcus1

    @hughmarcus1

    Жыл бұрын

    @@sudhinkumars7940The main issue with the SDV6 is that they’re putting extra power into an engine with a weak spot in the crank. That’s why more 3.0 & especially the SDV6 have crank failures than the 2.7. The issue for all these engines (inc the TDV8) is that the service intervals are far too long & 5W30 oil doesn’t help. Change the oil every 5-6k & use a premium 5W40 oil. You’ll have less problems
