Some of the audio in this one is a bit crap - next one will be a lot better. Who's going to buy a load of Chineseum for their Range Rover now then?!

Very tempted with the boot lights and the H7 upgrades. I’ve got the 2009 pre facelift, do you know if the H7 kit would fit?

Need to check if my 2012 westminster has led h7 replacements already but if not it soon will have. Oh and arm rest knobs, side repeaters (not dynamic) and puddle lights

Turns out they don’t fit. The H7 has a different fitting which has a twist lock fitting which sits flush behind the bulb meaning it can’t lock this kind of bulb in. Sod’s law.

Hi Sam wasnt sure how to get in touch with You, but I have for sale some older parts for a Range Rover P38, parts consist of rear light lenses different types, air filters, fuel filters bushes,and various parts for the Air suspension, including pumps, I was gonna put them on Ebays but wondered I You may be interested in buying them, Regards Frank
Hi Sam, if you ask me, the sweeping blinkers are "a bridge to far". For the rest, very nice upgrades. Best Regards, David

I did the armrest knobs, from ebay €23. Really good quality. But now looks like I have to start doing the lights, thanks for that. Good video.
I’ve also done a full interior LED upgrade. Makes a world of difference 👍👍
Honestly the most useful video out there I have seen, cheers mate and appreciate the channel mention with the guy who tests the headlights, useful information.
Great video and awesome upgrades! I'm definitely doing the fog, interior, puddle, and side indicator lights to mine!
Great video - as always Sam. The LED puddle and boot light upgrades seem a good move for me to look into for mine. Hope you're still enjoying it!
Nicely done and useful. I've the same car - superb machine. One of the first things I did was swap the main beams as you did. I like the boot lights and the armrest knobs, I'll be doing those! I also replaced the accelerator pedal for the Autobiography one - because the original failed - thats nice.
Just bought my new Range Rover.. Well new to me. Recently found your channel..I see you're going to be extremely helpful! Cheers Sam
I love the LED fog lights - they’ll be ordered tonight
Sweet video! I will get some of these and try on my L322. Thanks!
Excellent and very professional, so good
Thanks for the video. I purchased LED bulb kits for my P38 and L322, just the bulbs by themselves. Makes a big difference. I have been reluctant to pry out the puddle lights in my L322 mirrors as they seem very tight and I am afraid of breaking the housings. May order the units you used as well as the LED driving lights. I recently replaced all the HID and H7 bulbs in my L322. It is much easier if you remove the entire headlight unit. Powerfull UKLtd has a video on how to do this. Cheers from Canada.
Very nice tutorial. Will make it easier when I get my L322.🤞
Great video and content, lights ordered! Thanks very much kind sir 👍
fog lights look good (but yellow light cuts through fog better). The issue with the interior LEDs is that it makes the interior feel "colder" at night, which I was never a fan of. Think hospital feeling instead of warm interior feeling.
Hi Sam, done all these upgrades, I also wired up the drl's and they look really good. Thanks 👍

Great to hear!
Very good like the simplicity of the transfer! I put a new fog lamp on the rear of the 110 to replace the smashed old one new one doesn’t work checked the fuse switch and wiring and it’s a dud! At least the 12000 lb winch is fully installed and working but! I’ll check out those upgrades for my D4 5.0 litre V8 I like illumination!! Thanks for a great video!
Sam, based on your recommendation I got these fog lights and installed them today. They look great. Now they are brighter white than the low beam headlights. What I appreciated is your install tips but maybe even more, the link to buy. It saved the stress of hoping I pick the ones that will fit. Thanks for the advice.

Like the LED fog lights and high beam H7 replacements... I'm definitely considering for mine. However, for the interior boot lights i just changed the bulbs for LEDs and not the whole unit.
Great Mods thanks for introducing me to this website
Looks great! Thanks for the tips! I vote TART on the side repeaters, but you don’t know until you try, eh?
Another top upload Sam! I'm not sure why but I find your videos strangely relaxing, a bit like watching countryfile on a Sunday afternoon 😄

Im looking to buy a Winchester l322. These mods will be done asap when i get the car 👌 brilliant video mate
Another great video Sam what a difference in those lights
Loving the vids
Sam I could see your lights in Kent!😳 😂 awesome video again mate, keep em coming. Jim.
Your knowledge it just incredible, how the feck do you know all the quirks on fitting anything to your car 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Nice I did the arm rest adjusters touch of class
I was on the West Coast of England a couple of days ago. Pretty sure I saw you flash your head lights when I looked out towards Ireland.
It will be interesting to see how long they last , excellent upgrade
Like the led upgrades
Love your vids buddy
Hi Sam - just ordered 2 pairs of the boot lights - they were £10 for 2 pairs + £3 delivery to UK - bargain - cheers. Great informative video as ever
Nice stuff mate
Nice upgrades there ;)
Amazon would have serious competition if Ali-Express opened in UK & Ireland, live the dynamic stuff
Great video, Time to shop shop shop... Cheers
Hi. Sorry for my english if its sometime wrong, its self-learned. Connect DRL as well, I doing it.. If DRL power consumption is not big (apr 20W in total or even less I suppouse), you can take the power directly from output of relay R10 (located in engine compartment fuse box). Then DRL will go on always when ignition turned on. But, there is a small dalay (about 1 minute) when turn ignition off. Thats no problem I think, will work like "follow home" light. Put fuse and 5-pins relay between to swich DRL off when use headlights. Power for relay - headbeam connector, pin 11. I doing one more good thing, for free: I change seats bottoms. Now passenger seat (only bottom) is on driver side and driver seat on passenger side. Now seats looks like new, worn corners are inside and not visible. Need to remove seats. Take off the plastic, leather, replace the foam, also replace the passenger sitting-sensor for seat belt. Quite lot of work, half day at least, but not impossible, seats are absolutley similar.
Interior LED’s next 😎 need to get rid of all that orange !
I've just gone down that list, Sam. £106 no money really .. . the boot lights are what tipped me over the brink .. sensational. Thx indeed ... . for all your vids.
As for fog lights in Ireland - they're only supposed to be in Fog (visibility under ~100m) and falling snow. Reality differs substantially, as you've noticed .. a pet peeve of mine at times
@SamsMotors
2 жыл бұрын
Yeah noticed they're a lot more common in normal weather here, but I figured it was a cultural thing so haven't been going around flashing everyone as I would be in the UK 😆
I ABOSUTELY WILL BUY THEm IT LOOKS just a tiny bit modern but still looking handsome . keep it !!!! it was a good upgrade. i have my LR RRS 2011 so I will find the same replacements on Alie
I just bought a set of new Defender style headlights for the l322 for 5000 rmb. It worked great.
Great video.
I personally like the indicator upgrade
Them lights are real real koool sam looks a 100% better sam much respect from Jamaica
Wow some great upgrades , I am sure they was reports of UFO's in Ireland that night 😂 , really impressed with the boot lights
All good stuff. I like the leds. Have you done the Rhino lifting rods ? Another inexpensive and big improvement. 10 minute install
If those fog lights haven’t got the appropriate light certification markings then they’ll be illegal
One of the best upgrades is to find a used from bull bar and mount some proper fog lights in the factory spots.

They're really rare for the L322. I'd love one though!
Those lights are well big pimping looking. She’s looking like one sweet Rangy.🤜
Love the upgrades bro! Again like a few people on here not keen on the sweeping turn signal things (they look shit sorry) but otherwise those lights are sick!! What’s next in the hit list?
Lovely job 🚗🚙🚘👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Great series. Older l322 models suffer with cd player not reading the disc issues, could that be a possible video for your library 😊
Nice upgrades there Sam , puddle lights look especially nice . The videos are really good BTW 👍
I have the same Range Rover and I have been feeling the puddle and tailgate lights were pretty old school. I didn’t want to spend a fortune upgrading but now I’m definitely doing an upgrade. Great to see you posting more regular videos. Keep up the good work. 👍
Nice video! Great set of upgrades, bit worried about the foglight and headlight bulb swap as here in Spain they're quite hot on this when it comes to the MOT/ITV. But they certainly look brighter - did you notice any changes to the beam pattern at all? That's what would likely cause a fail... PS: You should have found affiliate links, we'd have been more than happy to support you with them!
@SamsMotors
2 жыл бұрын
As they're in the main beam I don't think the beam pattern matters all that much (might be wrong there) but no, seems similar to the halogen anyway. Cheers!
Subbed and liked. This is the most useful channel if you own one of these. THANK YOU!
Great video. I'll be replicating the light upgrades on my D4 shortly. Next job can you de-sticker your back window? :)
Did you ever do a vid on wiring up the fog lights to the running lights??? Cheers
Loved every l322 video, looking forward to more content. Quick question though about the fog lights, any issues with warning lights on the dash? Powerful uk seemed to have issues with their led bulb replacement.
@SamsMotors
Жыл бұрын
Cheers David, glad you enjoy them. No warning lights at all. I think because these LED units are a lot more powerful than the replacement bulbs, they draw enough power to keep the bulb check system happy - so no "blown bulb" warnings that you might get with a low power LED.
Thanks for this...... late night shopping at 2am on Ali and just spent nearly £400. But all stuff I needed and based on your videos. I'd like to chat more about the sound and video system you've put in as I have quite a few questions. There are loads on the market and I'm spoilt with the system in my Audi Q7. So would love to know if you are still happy or if there are some buyers remorse with problems you have had. The chap at Halfords just gave me a shrug of the shoulders and really didn't have a clue what I was looking for. Thanks for the videos.
Hi Sam, have you thought about upgrading the cornering bulbs which point outwards, located beneath the front indicators? I’m not sure what size/fitment these are as haven’t looked at mine yet. Wonder if the whole headlamp unit needs to come out for them?
Hello Sam, really enjoy your L322 vlogs. Regards, RichardA.

Great video don’t like the light bar on the grill tho
I saw the video and got shopping, puddle lights easy to fit, but my lights did not have a red wire. However they do work and work very well. the interior lights the connector was not the same as the std one, but a bit of leverage on the light connector and the plug fitted. Much much brighter. Cheers

Got the headlights, damn those thing swilll not go into the headlight housing. The ones I received state to fit the collar first and then push the bulb in place and lock in the correct orientation. Tried that could not get the bulb in place as it appears to be too long, it interferes with the back pf the headlight housing. Tried it like you have fitted it with the collar attached and it still will not fit. Hope contacting bevinsee on FB will give me an answer.
I dont suppose you could do a vid on replacing speakers, especially the sub? Showing the location of all speakers would be useful too - I think I have a couple of blown speakers - (2012 Westminster 4.4)
Just about to start replacing a left hand turbo on a 4.4tdv8 wish me luck 🤪
I've always been leary of Ailey express. You have given me some confidence. I'm near Chicago so takes a bit longer. I sure wish mine was right hand drive. Not many here

I've bought all of these upgrades now, great video. Did you attach the drl wires up in the end? If so, where did you wire them to? Thanks.
Would have been good to see what the indicators looked like in the dark too!, Otherwise a great informative video, I have ordered much of the same for my 2004 l322 bar the puddle lights, got a good deal too as it was my first time using aliexpress so got a new user discount plus free shipping to Cornwall!, Keep up the great work.

Happy days, AliExpress should be giving me a sponsorship deal! 😆
Great video Sam, good tips and nice upgrades all of them. Question, have you passed MOT with these lights upgrades? A year ago I read that these LED bulbs might not be legal under current UK DVLA regulations.
@andrewstrange6570
Жыл бұрын
I've also discovered that the 6000 lights are illegal with a VERY SMALL sign on the Halfords product packet of their lights says "For off road use only." so be warned. I was told that they would not be passed at the MOT. so will keep the normal ones and change the at MOT time. ;-)
It’s so easy to remove the headlamps, I would have removed the headlamp to fit the bulbs 👍
I’ll give those LED fog lights a few weeks before they start to hold water and condense up.
Hi Sam, great video. My dream car now is a L322. Any recommendations on where best to source one? Based in Northern Ireland.

All these goodies are Perfectamundo, in my humble opinion! 👍
@SamsMotors
2 жыл бұрын
Perfectamundo, I like that. They're all still working great so far 👌
Only the shorter armrest knobs will fit the freelander 2!
Odd i just ordered the puddle lights, they came installed them, except my truck does not have a red wire, they both yellow. Cleaned the contacts and installed the lights easy enough, but they didn't work, flipped the connectors around, bent contacts, all that. Tested the lights from the jump start posts and they work fine. Fiddled some more, could get flash out of the driver side as I hit the key to open the door, but nothing else, stuck the bulb back in it works fine and now so does the passenger LED. It's almost as if there not enough voltage to run both lamps?
People can poo poo all they want about Range Rovers, but I absolutely Love them! 😎 👍👍
Hi Sam are you going to do the led upgrade you mentioned to your original reversing lights. Keen to see how that goes…
@SamsMotors
2 жыл бұрын
Yep it's in the works, just need time to get the reverse lights stripped out and stripped down. Cheers
No reflection on the video, as it’s really good. But please note, the Bevinsee upgrade doesn’t work on the pre facelift 3.6 TDV8
Nice video! Really cool what you did, for just a small amount of cash. Where do I find the main led lights again? Your affiliate link is not available anymore. 😢
Great video. Have you had any issues with battery drain since installing the leds?

Hey Mark, check the video description for all the bits. Cheers
I found the same H7 LED kit on eBay for about £35. Good upgrade. I put new halogens in and they’re still pee yellow colour 🙄😂
Unfortunately the armrest knob link goes to a L405 model. I don’t know if they’re all the same on the different models so double check👍
All the upgrades are good apart from the side repeaters. Not even Katie Price would want those on her Range Rover and hers is pink. Would the headlights still be conformant with the Irish M.O.T.?
In New Zealand I believe the law says you're only supposed to use fog lights when there is fog or heavy rain etc.. and everyone ignores it.
