I Bought Another SUPER CHEAP C6 Corvette Z06! MAJOR Mechanical Problems!?
Always been a sucker for a project car. Especially a C6 Z06! Was fortunate enough to come across this 2008 Z06 in need of some serious mechanical love. The LS7 has left the chat! Follow along as I bring it back to better than showroom condition! Should be a fun series!

Man these vids are aesthetically pleasing, informative, and fun to watch! No bs, no childish stuff, and no clickbait or rambling on about stuff that doesn’t have anything to do with the vid, just pure informative content. This man is awesome and I can’t wait to see this channel blow up cause he deserves it🙏🏽🔥
Better be careful rolling around with that much cash. The street pirates will get you. Check out civil asset forfeiture.
Looks like a fun project car. Be sure to thoroughly flush out the oil cooler, dry sump tank, and interconnecting oil lines, or your new engine will be toast as well.
15k is a great price. Dump 15 into it and you got a running z06. Hell of a deal in this market 💯.
Salvage car?
i was always under the impression it was the guides. american heritage worked on these a lot back in the day with katech. they had success with refurbishing the stock ti intake and a hollow ferrera exhaust with bronze guides or those really high end F1 style guides but who knows 100% it's an aggressive valve angle with a very long valve coupled in a high rpm engine. other guys tried stainless valves all around but that requires a lot more spring pressure and lowers the redline all else equal. i think inspections every 10k would be the way i would go. pull a retainer or two with compressed air in the cylinder and see if you have any wiggle present. really doesn't take that long to do random inspections. doing 2 cylinders every 10k would work through all 16 guides every 40k
Did you try to crank it first?......will be installing headers, with a new 427?..............JB.
Love all 3 // the Superduty, Zo6, and 🐶
I like guys like you, You remind me of guys like me.
so cool to see the C6 in depth. Im new to the muscle V8 crowd, but this vid is informative as well as entertaining. I'm all in!! Thank you and keep up the channel !!
Love your videos Chris, I am impressed at how knowledgeable you are about all aspects of car repair.
Another Corvette and car from NH. That is awesome and enjoy your content. Good solid information without the hype or clickbait. I hope your channel continues to grow
Nice work, this will be a joy to follow along. The Black 5.3 turbo content was awesome as well. You did such a nice job on that monster and it was a great series. Hopefully someday I'll get there as well in the near future.
This is my first video I’ve got to see on your channel and I’m definitely a new subscriber!! Love the truth and the facts you kick out . Can’t wait to see which way you take this Beast !!! Will be glued to updates..
