What you called XLR connectors are Speak-on connectors for heavier duty speakers that you would use in a PA system.

That looks like fun!

Those black and blue connectors are (knock-off? ) Neutrik Speakon connectors. They are used for speakers in pro audio. I used to work in the industry and had a lot of take-off connectors from renovations, so I used them as battery quick connects to attach chargers to my motorcycle, lawn mower. Also good for battery connects on go boxes. Think of it as a locking Anderson Power Pole. They are rated at 250V 30 Amp continuous. Note: Don't use these for AC disconnects. They have PowerCon connectors with a similar design for AC mains use.

The blue end cables are called Speakon Cables for hooking up Musicians Speaker Boxes

and by that I meant the MTC one, I do love them, great business and great customer support but the mystery box was pretty thin

Can you talk to MTC and see if they want to buy MFJ and have 2 big stores in the south?
