This is a real treasure!!!! I did not see anything Dollar Tree in that Vintage Doll House. Someone has lovingly collected and curated a precious home. I don't believe it was intended for a child's toy, but a creative past time. The 70s and 80s had Doll House Shows and all kinds of miniatures were offered for sale. Good years of fun!! Now looks like it has made a comeback💖🧑‍🦳

I agree about the house. I think the pieces I was thinking were dollar tree were made from kits meant to be with the house. In its shuffle from storage I wonder if some household items might have been lost. There's at least one cup/saucer missing. 😂 The dolls are having a good time. If they will let me I will do a little more deep cleaning. I hope to add more supplies to the house. They need a sewing machine, obviously! 😍✨

This abandoned doll house is so charming. I love the little stories you make up as you show us like the arm leaving the doll to find cookies. Hilarious! 😂

OMG fantastic. Love it what a great find. I love the kitchen hutch. The dolls are great what cute outfits. I hope you end up keeping it, I found a homemade dollhouse at an estate sale last month totally filthy It’s big and so so dirty I asked the guy how much he said $25. I said how about $10 lol. He said ok it would otherwise go in the dumpster. I had to rescue it.

Hi, Dot. When I saw your little doll house, it reminded me of when I got my Marx metal house for Christmas in 1956 or 57. I thought I died and went to heaven. When I first saw your little house, I was imagining you repainting it and putting in new wallpaper, some of the ones there look faded, but I can't really tell. Cleaning the shelves with a damp Q-tip might work. If it were me, I would leave all the hand made accessories as is, they are truly gems! And I think it would be fun coming up with ideas for re-carpeting the floors. Maybe like faux hooked rugs, etc. My suggestion: Keep It !!

Thanks Sherry🤗 I've seen those metal Marx houses online. I think they're super! Now that I'm spending time with it, I'm inclined to keep it. I'll wait for the dolls to tell me what they'd like done. 😂 I used a qtip on that shell shelf and it still didn't get clean. I used a dry paintbrush to dust also. The wood is so rough the dirt sticks right to it! I'll need to take my time. Thank you for all your comments and encouragement. This is such a great community 😍

What an interesting mix. The tissue box looks straight out of the 1980s. Keep the frog! Is it painted metal? You may have to keep baby Dracula for your Halloween display.😅

I always say if you loved it and if you like it keep it enjoy it for a while and then decide what you want to do with it. And make sure that you sell it for a good price because the house has a lot of items. And you know that if you are to buy all the things separate is going to cost you a lot 🥰

I love dolls so there's never too many. The donuts were the bit of humor I love to have. It made me smile that they had been left on the fireplace ...where we always leave donuts. Lol 😂😍

@@thedollcupboard I love things miniature, dont have a dolls house, but have a brass frog which has patina so is black and keep him on my lounge floor lol, but anything thing unusual I love, hense that doll and the frog, in your position I would keep both, I know you have enjoyed your find, lucky you.

Most of the dolls and furniture seem to be from the very late 1970s to early 1980s. It is a cute house that probably gave the lady hours of fun. Your cleaning definitely improved it a lot.

The cloth bodied baby with more normal hair is a relatively modern one, made by Dakin - in the 1980's,I believe.

This was an incredible find! Love all the different dolls even baby Dracula! 😂 I agree with other people in the comments, hopefully someone keeps the dolls together since they’re a little family of sorts. It was a great find nonetheless. I’d personally want to keep it. It’s a nice house and pretty old.

What a treasure It is a kit from the 80s. That was bashed with some very expensive windows that come with the kit The furniture I agree with you definitely a mix old new etc.

The windows and door came from a doll house supply company like you find at hobby lobby. Kit bashing does alot to make a simple kit . A spectacular and more realistic house. Furniture kits do come with certain houses. 2 of of cheapest green leaf models. And could be purchased separately. As a whole house or rooms or certain pieces. These kits are all of different quality. The cheapest and most primitive coming with the house. Though with some creativity these can be made nice. I'll look again and see if I can identify any kit furniture for you.

Hi! I paid $75 for the house and all the contents. The woman who owned it had a large doll collection and many beautiful items collected over the years. She was a German woman. I don't know any more. I got several darling (but rough) dolls from her estate also. Others have mentioned it might have been a kit from the 70s or 80s? The scale seems a tad smaller than 1:12, but what do I know?! LOL. As best as I can say. The shelves in both rooms are definitely kit. The sofa seems so. The kitchen set looks German or English blue box. The flour lamp and white table are petit princess or a knock of petit princess. The bed look old and in expensive foreign . Equal to American shackman. The kitchen hutch . I can't see well enough but could be kit as well. That model as far as I know did not come with a furniture kit. The porch post is definitely a add on . The rails post and window frames would have all been flat balsa like the porch railing

Thank you SO MUCH! So grateful for all you're teaching me. 😍I do like the bed. The hutch is pretty thin and lightweight but I sure like it. Everything on the walls is glued on so there it will stay. The table in the kitchen and the larger chair with it seem to be "together". They are much sturdier than the other pieces. The dolls seem very happy in it and don't care that I haven't cleaned more. They ate all the doughnuts. 🥰✨

Of all the companies I know of in none of their kits does the wall paper come pre pasted. Their is one company that if you pay a premium price they will paint and paper in side and out for quick assembly but they choose the paint colours and set papers. A quality pampering in a doll house is done just as you would a full size room will wallpaper paste and folding paper around the corners. And overlapingatching the pattern

You can not always control what’s going on in a dollhouse, I think you should let the dolls stay together in this house and keep it, or find someone who understands the attachment of the dolls, you could clearly see there was a connection! They will definitely appreciate a little cleaning though, and some adjustments to your taste. 💕
