I just love these doll trunks xx
hey Rachel this video reminded me of a doll shop in my childhood. this was in the early 90's my mother would go to a pharmacy and next door was a shop that had antique dolls, i was scared to go in alone so i missed the full pleasure experience of it but the window display was always different. the owner would dress the window literally like scenes so it was like looking at a giant doll house kid sized. the one i can remember the most was this giant literally huge doll dressed in what id later known as travel wear and it looked as if she was getting ready to go on a trip because there was a trunk and the trunk had little corsets, petticoats, and few other items . they had another doll dressed in a maid outfit holding a folded outfit looking like she was either packing or unpacking. the other dolls trunk. this was somewhere in auburn washington. unfortunately the store closed and what became of those dolls i don't know but that window display especlly durring the holidays was decked out with dolls from head to toe, and i wish i had been brave to have gone inside and my mother was always the type that once her buisness was done she wanted to get home or continue running errands soon as she was done.

Hi Rachel! This treasure hunt was so much fun. I always wonder who they were owned by and what became of their life. It's part of History.
Rachel, I really LOVED both of these treasure trunks🤗🤗❤❤!! There is nothing as fun as opening up a treasure truck of Dolls and accessories❤❤!! I still have my miniature truck from my old Dollhouse!! However, my favorite was the first treasure truck!! I so LOVED the miniature waffle iron💖💖, @ 7:40 the miniature Chinese or Japanese blue💙💙 and white ceramic pot💙💙, miniature Bib that said, "cuddle" on it💖💖!! I also really LOVED the Armoand Marselille's Doll's blue eyes and head💙💙💙💙💙!!! And I also in the first trunk LOVED the Doll with a tag that said "Enchanted Doll" on it❤❤❤❤❤ and the beautiful red dress with black Pok A Dots on it❤🖤❤🖤❤🖤❤🖤!!! However, in the 2nd trunk I really LOVED the umbrella, the blanket that is pink with white pok a dots, and the white pillow💖💖💖💖💖!!! And say, "Hi" to Holland Diane for me!! Holland Diane always makes me smile😃😃🧸🦄!! Thank you Linda and Rachel for sharing these fun time capsule treasure doll trunks🤗🤗💖💖💖💖💖!!!
Сколько сокровищ! Потрясающе! 😍😍😍
Back when eBay had a doll chat there were several ladies that had Schoenhut collections. They were adorable. The girdles reminded me of what my mother wore to hold up her nylons before panty hose were invented😱 It was fun going through the trunks with you🌹
I can't explain to you how much I love this.....❤

I enjoyed this very much. The second doll seems close to what I had as a child.

❤❤ great fun cute video. Love it. Have a great day
I made a few things for my babies then later Hawaiian shirts for them while they were in style. There's always wonderful memories. Leta
That was complete fun!! I love old trunks and looking thru a child's items from long ago!! That second trunk looks to me like it was from the 1930's. I used to collect 1930's compo dolls, still have most of them!!

Glad you enjoyed it, I think you’re right on the red trunk!
Some baskets like the first one are Native American pieces…often from the North East coast. What an amazing collecting of items! I think the egg is European. The waffle iron is my favorite! Someone loved her dolls…a lot! The composition doll looks like 1940s…similar face to Aranbee Nancy Ann. It can make a person crazy trying to identify the manufacturer when there’s no mark…some manufacturers did not always put a mark on the doll. Many of the faces are similar because people were “copying” each other and especially Madame Alexander.
I love madame Alexander dolls they're the most vintage doll i own
wonderful treasures!....thank you so much for sharing......happy spring!
That was fun. Thanks for letting us see.

Great 👍😍🤩I want those goodies😭
I need to come visit your shop ! I have a relative in Denver !!
So beautiful. That was definitely a butterchurn. Loved all the accessories. Perhaps the loose legs belonged to the doll without as it was made to be a babydoll, and the layered were often very long dresses and such. The dolls are so pretty you can feel how loved they were. Bet the larger clothes were either the little girls as a baby and kept in the trunk or she used them on her dolls, or there is a missing babydoll. Love the elegant doll, she reminds me of Madame Alexander and American Character dolls.

Yeah I was wondering two if the limbs in the beginning went to the small doll in the first trunk too. I wasn't sure if it was a butter churn or a spinning spool.

That was my first thought that it was a spindle as well, specially as I do drop spindle.
I remember my grandma wore a corset, and she couldn't go without it because her back hurt so much!
How your cute baby,i hope both doing well, god bless you

Holy moly! This was so awesome! My favorite was the first trunk. When my daughter played with American Girl dolls, I used to make food out of polymer clay. Back in the day, Pleasant company made cast iron pieces for the historical dolls that were even functional. These dolls were so dearly loved by some little girl once a upon a time. Makes me wonder how they ended up being stored and not enjoyed all these years. All I can think is they wound up with a family member that wasn’t a doll enthusiast. Part of me hopes these trunks and dolls go to some little girl that will fix them up, play with them and love them again. Thanks for another fabulous video! 👋 Hello to Holland Diane. Little cutie!
What fun! I never wore a corset, but I had to wear a girdle when I first began wearing hose in high school. Awful things!
This was a lovely box opening, those trunks were old but amazing. So many items that are very useful for your doll collection. Was interesting to see them and the art work. Thank you Rachel
Ive got a little toilet set just like that for a bru doll , victorian and its pretty much exactly the same xx
I would love to find one of those doll trunks!

Yay!!
I have worn corsets as historical recreation shows. They are not as bad as people make out. I have had them tighly laced and breathing is different and hard to get use to, but if I wore it everyday, I probably would. I don't like the reshaping a body that corsets can do, so I don't recommend them. I love opening old trunks full of stuff. Thank you for showing.

I would love to own a Schoenhut doll one day, but I don´t think they were sold in Denmark. Great video 🙂
Wow that's really old stuff, imagine someone hid money in a compartment of sleeve of the container.
Omg ghost in the box! Cut the filming 😂
Hello Rachael ,could the waffle iron,be a salesman's sample? Thank you so much, for all of these cool things! best wishes to all of you!

I never wore a corset..not even for fun😊😊😊
I have worn a corset when I was in my 20 "s I did a drag show ,and when you wear then you have to learn how to breath again !!!
😮❤❤
🙋♀️❤
His legs were in the top of the trunk I think.
I've worn a corset
