@@shannacollins4741 He definitely doesn’t do the bare minimum of his job- Dusty goes above & beyond what’s asked of him. There’s a lot of hard work that goes on behind the scenes, not being filmed and there is a reason these guys work for one of the best FD drivers out there. Jealousy is a tough pill to swallow.

You can see how much dusty is in love w that thing. You can see the gears turning in his head on how he can end up w it. Very deserving dude.

I really like the idea of rebuilding the R8 or cars in general on this channel. Its a great content to watch, since Dean has professional mechanics. I'm looking forward to seeing more for the rebuild content.

I think dusty needs a company car he totally deserves it.

Yes Mark on the 12 volt while revving engine. Engine rev higher turns alternator pushing slightly more juice so yea definitely.

@KARNAGE ....i think the twin turbos from the RS7s might be a bolt on to this V8 R8....and less trouble...a decent and reliable option....Just a suggestion...

VF does V8 superchargers ,DDE Dave's R8 was V8 with VF's supercharger on it. I vote Twin Turbo's though.

It would be cool to see a full Liberty Walk body kit on that car along with a twin turbo Sheepy setup and a decent flame tune. Meanwhile it should all be in air ride, with massive dish wheels, and a crazyy paint job.

the v8 is not as condusive to boost, making it handle better is the best way to modify it, power leads to kablooey for those

Yes, sometimes plugging something into the aux or other ports would make a high pitched whine that increases when accelerating.

I think y’all should build tf outta this, I’m talkin stages. Could first, wrap, wheels… then built motor before you do any boost. But Supercharger or single turbo to be different

I'd actually be interested to see if you can squeeze some more power out n/a. Intake, cams, tune, headers. Before and after dyno runs. It's a car which is a bit more attainable, turbos and super charger kits are expensive and a mild engine build would be cool.

Put a proper exhaust on it because the Audi V8 in that thing Sounds absolutely beautiful with exhaust. I think a supercharger would be cool. Wheels, lowered. The R8s are sweet cars.

What's going on with the s15?

If you are gonna push hard on the R8 you need to upgrade the brakes. The OEM brakes are famous for failing on that generation.

Keep the car..dont sell it..keep it as a mile stone of the channel, and just do what ever you wish with it.
