I will never sell my diary because I am a 15 years old girl and being a teenager I have way too many personal things and feelings that I write without hesitation and since it contains tooo tooo toooo personal stuff, therefore I will never allow anyone to read that and also because now the diary is like a best friend for me and a real friend and I have a real bond with my dear diary💖

I write a lot of diaries and I love your respect for this woman. You could have gone down the road of laughing at her life but you chose not to. That says a lot about you..And you’re right. We can learn from every person we meet.

I started my diary at 12 in 1987 and documented everything I went through until I was around 22. I never wanted to forget what it was like to be a young person. I've only shared bits and pieces with my 17 and 19 year old daughter's so far. I was something else! Not sure what to do with it yet but names must be changed to protect the innocent😁.

the woman seemed to have insomnia. Poor thing, I'm glad she slept well at last in her last entry. Lydia's comment about the her not looking good must have resulted in the heavy slim fast drinking. She might have developed an eating disorder. It's so interesting how many dimension an individual person can have. There's a story behind us all.

my mom had labor pains when she heard about 9/11. i wasn't born, but I almost was because she was so stressed and shocked

Matilda Kennedy I would imagine it's just to keep it a bit more interesting for her to be writing it. The doctor would tell her to make a log in a diary, and to feel free writing about her day along with it. When my mom was in a car accident and had to take the insurance company to court she was advised to keep a diary of her pain and how it effected her everyday life.

Eh, I think it was the way she read it. Believe me, I'd know if she had depression 😉 but i think her anxiety plays such a role that in the way she acts in a average life, she's only analyzing everything to an extent, keeping her awake at night which makes her constantly tired, showing little but some symptoms of depression but mostly in need of bed rest and a companion 🙃

Everybody's depression is different. Saying "I'd know if she had depression" is a little far-fetched, especially considering the limited amount of information about the person we were given. Though, with the information we were given, it isn't wrong to be inclined to say she DID have depression. The (what seems to be) insomnia, how we really only hear about her eating (drinking) Slimfast, and her reliance on her companion (in this case a dog) especially if she was having to take care of an elderly, or possibly sickly father. All signs would point to having depression (though, again, we can't be sure because of how little info we have). I also don't see many signs of anxiety considering how often she went out. I suppose it is up for interpretation, though.

Actually, it sure can. There are studies that have been done to prove this. Handwriting can tell a lot about a person, it's actually really neat. Maybe look up the studies sometime! :)
