Very nice. I gather you're in Missouri? Never been, but sure looks nice and green again. Gotta love Spring with everything coming back to life. I really would love to have a Halcyon Green RE Classic 350. I finally got to ride one about two weeks ago when I took my Interceptor (INT650) in for its break in service. I would likely have one now if it wasn't for the fact that I got an Anniversary Edition Interceptor last December unexpectedly. Got really lucky there! Only 30 of them in North America! Royal Enfield really stepped up their game in the last 5 years or so. How can one resist them with such good looking bikes, an excellent price point and the 3 year unlimited miles warranty with Roadside assistance?? I'm sure you'll pick up quite a few new subscribers with RE content. I just subbed! Good luck. I'll be watching.

Would definitely try flipping the mirrors. R.E. is one of the few that offer a center stand, which is handy.

Excellent video. You’re in a beautiful area. I’ve been thinking about getting on two wheels again. A local dealer is selling these. I’ve read the first service is kinda pricey because adjusting the valves is necessary. I’ve watched some videos on the valve adjustment. Lots to do..Best of luck on your ride. Great looking bike..

Beautiful little bikes. A friend picks up his Meteor next week. I have a Classic 500 and bought a Super Meteor 650 three weeks ago. I'm a Royal Enfield fan. Not sure if the Super Meteor has hit the USA yet, but when it does you need to give it a test ride. You're going to love it. I'm going to subscribe and see what your long term thoughts are. Congratulations on your purchase.

I have owned a meteor or the last 18 months . The fuel light comes on with about 5 litres just over a gallon left in the tank the last 2 litres 1/2 gallon is kept to cool the pump. The tyres, brakes and the shocks take a bit of bedding in the tyres aren't the best but are ok just be careful in the wet. I hope you enjoy the riding bike as much as I do

Why do people think that 5th gear is an overdrive gear. I go into 5th at about 45mph and it pulls strongly up to 70mph. As for hills i have to go up a long steep hill to get into the town where i live and i always go up in 5th gear starting from about 40mph and it will actually accelerate up when the throttle is opened. All the gears are very usable and should be used to get the best from the bike. I have a less restricted air filter and end can fitted and while you wont get any more top speed the torque improves so its a good modification to do, and it sound great too. Ride safe and use that 5th gear.

  • @RandyRides

I do use 5th gear. It is an over drive gear. I also did the same mod with a DNA Air Filter. Thanks for watching!

@@RandyRides I rode both. I say the R.E. feels more comfy and has the looks over the Honda Rebel. Power wise the Honda has it.. 6 speed and 7hp more. I think it's 18 rear wheel on the dyno for the R.E. and 25 for a 300 Honda. But hours in the saddle out messing around the Honda I felt I wanted to get off and stretch.. My sister has one. The Royal Enfield I only had out about 20 minutes. Seat and rider position felt great for me. I thought about maintenance. The Honda might be better taken in for services where as I could do everything myself on the R.E. even valves are easy to check . Just a bit less to go wrong on the R.Enfield too. Anyway, I am still looking at a test between the new Honda XR 150 and an XT250 Yamaha this Summer. I kinda lean towards more of an all purpose bike and better off road suspension and ground clearance.. We shall see.. I might just order a Chinese 250 and getting it delivered in a crate for $2,500 or less 😂 Oh.. Weight is a factor I looked at. My sister's bike is like 50 lbs lighter than the 350 Royal Enfield .. I like a bike to be like in the 275 to 300 lb range if it's 300cc or below

Electric motorcycles are nowhere near gas motorcycles yet. What is the fastest charging electric motorcycle out? The Energica brand. It takes one hour to charge from empty to full. Also, it only has a range of 261 miles. You’ll never make it anywhere like that, if you want to travel a long distance. I have been riding for a long time but thanks for the welcome.
