Meet all my pets, well the new pet reptiles and lets do a mini reptile room tour, well sort of. This is the Mini Zoo tour! I am so happy to have purchased so many planted Bio Active front opening glass enclosures. these Exo Terra and Zoomed enclosures are amazing. In them we have some amazing plant species and some new pet frogs, snakes and lizards! First off we have Some Dendrobates Azeurus otherwise known as Blue Poison Dart Frogs. I love these bold terrestrial frogs. Of course Poison Dart Frogs are harmless in captivity and the same can be said for the other dart frogs in this new reptile collection. the Leucomelas or Yellow Dart Frog or Bumblebee dart frogs are some amazing frogs! I love these little amphibians and watching them hunt and eat flightless fruit flies is so interesting! Beside them we have Adelphobates galactonotus, a beautiful orange frog that is a bit bigger. We've also got a pair of Giant Day Geckos from Madagascar. These large geckos are arboreal and have a diet that makes them super easy and fun to watch. Baby geckos coming soon! Also new to the reptile collection another species of gecko from New Caledonia, Raf the Gargoyle Gecko. This cutie become one of my favorite lizards to watch hangout in the plants and on the glass inside the vivarium. Amazon Milk Frogs also came with this amazing package deal and boy are they fun arboreal amphibians to watch. Tree frogs are super fun including the green tree frog you might remember from way back in the early days of Wickens Wicked Reptiles before the Top 5 Reptiles videos. I'm glad I found your channel recently. I'm subscribed and like your videos. I just told some people about you saying Spadefoot toads can survive buried for months. I wonder if you could legally allow in-person tours of your pets and accept donations. There is probably some way to identify it and limitations that would not require permits, licenses, registrations. I'm sure I personally would never visit (just because I don't travel for any purpose), but if you were within 5-10 miles of my home, I would.

This is awesome. Reminds me of when I bought a 270 gallon enclosure from a pet store that was closing. It came fully set up and they even delivered it to my house. But when I started going through all the plants and substrate, I found 3 green tree frogs, 5 fire belly toads, 2 Moorish geckos and a baby green iguana hiding inside. So I got busy building enclosures and ended up with a minizoo too. Yours is way cooler than what I had though. Congrats on your minizoo!!!

I use my husband's KZread account now so it doesn't show me as an OG but been here since 2019 and loving it. As soon as I moved out at 20 last year I've been slowly growing my reptile collection and you are such an inspiration! Love all the new upgrades. Also I have no idea what species you could be getting but keep us updated lol.

Since you're prepping the new room, maybe people could benefit from some setup or maintenance tips such as how to set up and use heated racks, install show lights, sealing wood to prevent mold etc!

That is an epic score!!!!! I am in absolute love with those frogs...I know shocking. In your leucomela's tank, is that a creeping fig? That is one of my favorites. I have to say, now that I upgraded my White's Tree Frogs into the 36x18x36, they are out more often during the day. They love their space. I have so many upgrades but everything takes so long.

Hey Adam, I would highly recommend buying something like one large mistking system instead of three exo terra monsoons since I am having great success with mine. Also the mini zoo looks great!!
Been having a super tough time with classes and exams and all that junk, always happy to see a brand new video from you man thank you fr! Keep grinding

I am always impressed with people who can care for non-demanding animals. My ADHD makes it hard for me to care for my plants. But my cats and dogs demand care...and very loudly. I have to care for them. Even my bird is demanding. I am massively awed by humans who are able to do this daily. Also the zoo is bomb! Congrats! ❤️
I’ve never heard of milk frogs. I would love to see a vid all about those guys. They looked awesome.
That technology set up is exactly what I’ve been searching for! I may look into that.

Man I'm jealous, hahah. You got a lot of species I want! Not sure about their bones, but milk frogs do have blue blood, which is actually why their everything else is blue (and why our mouth and organs are pink/red). Though I suppose their marrow would be blue at the very least, and there are blood vessels throughout the bone, so they might be blue too after all!
That humidifier is in the perfect price range for mostly any budget.

I really do love these. I went down to feed the frogs and then just sat there for 40 minutes watching, they are so cool!
Whoever made these did a amazing job. You had a awesome find in these.

I think that a display tarantula would fit in this collection! It might not be part of the reptile hobby, but it would be cool to see an arboreal tarantula in one of the empty enclosures. An Antilles Pink Toe makes a great display!

What is the substrate mix in the Arid leopard gecko enclosure. What a cool setup and great video.
I love how fresh and green that wall looks. I would love to see a video about what sorts of plants can be put into a bioactive set up, and if you do create backgrounds, I'd be really interested in seeing the process and what you do with them.

Get some Oyapocks for your next dart frog. Very bold and the white and black with the Blue legs is pretty striking in person.

I can never remember the name of the dart frog that I love. I'll have to go back to the dart frog collection video I saw them on and get back to you on it. But they would be a cool addition. LOVE the Amazon Milk Frogs. Would be a frog species I would own. I do hear their blood is blue. Not sure about their bones though. Would be cool to see how long it takes the isopods to break down feces. Can't wait for updates. Yes! Would love a care guide about Day Geckos. Got a feeling one of these days you're going to have a legit reptile zoo. Would be awesome!

What a find! I thought I was lucky to find just three a few month back! It would be awesome to see you go through a couple of the main plants in each tank saw quite a few I wasn't familiar with. Awesome video man!
Awesome mini zoo! I would personally go with a MistKing system. I have two of them which replaced my monsoon. Hands down a better product and I'm not sponsored by MistKing...lol (nor Zoomed, Exoterra, Zilla...🤣🤣🤣)

@@WickensWickedReptiles no you can just use a bucket or rubber maid tub. Drill a hole in it an insert the bulkhead which comes in the kit. Easy

@@WickensWickedReptiles I just got my mist king system this last weekend. Was super easy to set up and connect to three enclosures. Currently using a 5gallon bucket as a water reservoir. I also went down the rabbit hole of looking into DIY systems but the pump cost alone on top of not having a timer it's just not feasible to get the same quality for any cheaper than just getting a starter system. There are cheaper options for nozzles and lines though!
WAIT! You are a plant guy? Please I need a plant collection video. I myself collect rare Hoya and Aroids so I‘m always interested to see other people’s collections. If anyone wants an unsolicited recommendation for unusual Terrarium plants: Try hoya serpens or begonia amphioxus. Both basically impossible to keep alive outside of terrarium or cloches, but absolutely stunning and thriving in 80%+ humidity.
I completely understand and agree with you referring to this as a mini zoo. The animals all look so adorable, I cannot pick a favorite. Yes, to all the vid suggestions you made, yes, do it all. Looking forward to seeing the big room finished. Also….. as someone with two black thumbs…. i am so envious of those lush beautiful plants!
I love the azures!!! I have 2 of them in a 40 gallon and they are cohabing with 3 mourning geckos. They are absolutely my favorite reptiles in my collection, I was amazed by how friendly they are when I got them
The vine is most likely Ficus pumila, there is a smaller leaf variety called quercifolia and a variegated form as well.

I love day geckos! they ate so cute, he get's lost in the vegetation, talk about camouflage :D I give him Pangea, he likes that better than anything else, along with the prey items! Great collection, I would love to have some frogs, they are so cool!
