the fact that pretty much the only complaint in this video is about the broach, is so funny to me lol. 'everything is fine. except this brooch.'

Personally, I decide to make when a costume is made out of 'real clothes'. For example, your Heather Chandler is made of a blazer, a shirt, skirt, etc. AKA actual clothes that can be found. I buy when the costume is more complex, and involves clothes I wouldn't be able to find, for example the designs in Demon Slayer or my monastary uniform from Fire Emblem

I got the same one you bought,if anybody ever gets it then get it a size up.I’m an adult small and got adult small but it was too tight for me so I had to get a bigger one.But it’s made out of good material

i just finished my Heathers cosplay for Saturday and it was harder than i thought to find her clothes (i thought it’d be easier because it’s more normal clothes) because i’m a sucker for accuracy (I was going for the West End version and kinda did a mix between West End, the film, and Broadway).

May I just say 1. You've probably heard this thousands of times but wtf ur Heather.C Cosplay is beautiful aaaa-/pos 2. Damn thee woman now I really want to cosplay one of the Heathers/lh(light hearted)

Me a fellow sewer: Do I need more fabric? My cosplayer self: HONEY YOU DO ! I look good in green and yellow. So Heather Duke or Heather Mac is perfect. Than again I have black hair so Heather Duke is my best option.

I'm not making a white dress shirt or cargo pants when I can buy them. I'd rather have some off the rack pieces and spend my time perfecting spot on accessories I made myself.

I have no skills in sewing so I buy my cosplays XD

i desperately need help finding a pattern to have someone sew for my mcnamara blazer - i dont know anything about sewing and i dont know how to make the sleeves so i can move in them like the costume designer for heathers talked about

STEP INTO MY CANDYSTORE

I would make my own, but yk don't know how- Also, I would buy them but I have strict parents who are like "That's too expensive for some dumb outfit", "that skirt is too short" etc.. I've been tryna save money but since I'm only 13, and it's a pandemic getting money is hard.... Anyways, I have like 20 bucks saved so far so since my parents wont get me it saving is my next option. I also have another problem, since I have a EXTREMELY tight budget it will be hard to find decent cosplay. I mean yeah I got get some cheap ass one from wish, but that ain't worth it. If I actually want it get a decent one it would be a high price which I don't have that money. Anyways, besides all my problems I still have some hope I will able to cosplay, so hopefully there is some actual hope.

I got a Veronica Sawyer costume from Amazon (seller is WECOS) and the brooch is beautiful and intricate (I’ll link a picture)
