For future situations, on the Chrysler 300, if you have the key in the Run position, you can turn it from run to accessory to run to accessory and back to run and it will display the codes in the information cluster

You can't win every time; unfortunately you've had bad investments lately. No where to go but up, hopefully.

Looks like you buy a lot of cars without inspecting them first. Time for a change. These mistakes can often be avoided, and you're too experienced to buy cars that you should have not bought. The 300c was just typical reason why people don't buy junk from dealer auctions. A lot of Dealers don't care when they need to sell a problem vehicle at auction.

Well on the plus side almost every car you buy off a used car buy here pay here lot has a check engine light on. Shine it up and "guarantee" someone credit on it and you'll sell it lol.

definitely got ran hard, I bought a 300c at 89k miles and at 100k i got rod knock because i bought one that got ran hard. great car though people push those hemi and srt8s hard but keep it stock and dont keep up on the maintenance for how hard they push it.

Don't you get to test drive these at the auction lot so you can tell before you buy about the transmission issues?

It could be the blend door, the actuators or the temp control unit on the dash panel. They sometimes get picky and your climate control gets struck.

That's why I carry a tire plugging kit in the trunk of every car I owned along with an air pump

looks like oil in the exhaust and with the coolant low I expect a bad head gasket. maybe a warped head?
