just bought a 2000 f250 7.3 extended cab 4x4 short bed for $3,700 with 204,000 miles in maroon and its completley stock, no leaks runs great. has small dent on cab corner but for the price i couldnt beat it. its crazy the valley is dry and the driveshaft is snug with zero rattle. no blow by at all

That's an awesome truck. I just bought a 1999 7.3 this last spring and thought I had a pretty low mile one at 170,000 miles. Absolutely love mine! From Nevada, so absolutely no rust.

Good choice!! Yes, get it out of the clouds! Stock height + level kit is AAA+++!! Keep reguar service and maint. and this piece will last forever! Good luck!

Beautiful low mile 7.3 Power-stroke , congratulations. Fix both sides of the bed at one time. There is foam under the rust on bed, maybe even take the bed off and coat the under side. I have 2000, with ZF6 super cab that’s pretty rusty. I bought new-used doors bed tailgate, rockers etc.

Can’t wait to see the build! I own a 2001 f250 with 104k with just basic maintenance.

Ok in my opinion you made a very wise choice.Fix the rust and led lights,grill maybe and if towing get air bags helped me a lot. Drive it like that for a while and see if it grows on you 👍🏻when I got my 94.5 OBS 7.🌲it had a 6” lift with 35’s(BFG all terrains)and I didn’t want another lifted truck because at the time I had a 77 f~250 w/8”lift and 40”tires. So as I said it grew on me and I went with 33” tires my last set and my rpm’s were higher at highway speeds sooo my fuel mileage went down and I’m back to 35’s(Nitto mud grapplers).any way enjoy your truck and have fun with it🤙🏻🤙🏻.

Hit the underside with Fluid Film and or Surface Shield to keep the rust at bay.

I would highly recommend keeping the light bar I fave one on my 2002 f350 dually I use it all the time. It is a great thing to have

Love the new truck. But I think that if you mod to it, you should put a leveling kit on it and keep it stock. I think it will look good, drive and perform awesome. So that is what I think you should do but it your trucks so do what you want to it. But love the fordand look good.

94,000 miles is just breaking in the motor on a 7.3. Get to know your truck because they are the best running trucks in the world !

That is literally the exact same color of my new truck I bought mine 1.5 year ago with 94k bought mine in Weymouth Massachusetts for $13,000 mine has the 6.0 powerstroke it’s been a flawless truck for me and love the channel man.

first off 250k miles is just broken in for a diesel, they run at low rpm. that will never see above 3100 rpms. 7.3's shine as around 2100 to 2600 rpms, they are tanks. they won't win races but can pull all day every day. I have a 00 f250 crew cab with 211k and mint no rust I am 2nd owner, I also have an 00 f250 with a flatbed supercab with 320k and a zf6 manual 6 speed they both have 0 blow by. run like tops. Love the 7.3L well maintained they are extremely reliable!

leave the exhaust that the last thing to worry about ,check the valley for oil leaks and the hpop pump for leaks you will see a valley full of oil other than that glow plug harness check under valve covers pro tip get a 13 mm swivel set of sockets for valve cover removal its a must have tool just swivel sockets set stock exhuast is 4 inch ,I run 4 straight pipe no muffler

Where are you guys finding these trucks for these prices, I’ve been looking for 8 months now and I’m searching halfway across the nation. I can’t find a 7.3 that has less than 200k miles that is also less that 15K. Everyone wants over 20k for their truck and I’m thinking, if imma spend over 20k I’ll just the good years of the 6.7 for that price.

I wouldn’t call that surface rust. Those super duty’s doors rust from the inside out

97k is barely broken in for those trucks

Congratulations. To make this KZread thing work you need to do more videos. You are limited by location. Put up videos of you 4 wheeling in your jeep, also the trip you recently took with another truck. Video of bringing this truck home. I realize that editing videos is time consuming, but you are missing out on a lot of opportunities.
