I got my 2011 G37X sedan with 105K for $1850 still running and driving strong only minor work was needed

Pretty much what my G was like upon purchase. 4K last September for a sport 08 manual coupe with 190K miles (keep in mind I bought it as a 19 year old on my own.) The paint was in terrible condition, bare metal in certain places. Crusty headlights, my seats were so bad the heat coils were rubbing me on my drive back, steering wheel was falling apart, dash is melted with pet hair stuck to it, and the wheels are curbed and the front 8.5’s are In the rear? Anyways been putting money into it since and it’s cleaned up pretty nice. Just bought Nismo Club V2’s for it today as well. Love the car, and wish you luck 🫡

@@AliasDooms I bought mine on the NC coast. Guy dropped the price for me cause he was moving to Texas and needed to get rid of the car. It’s run great and I drive it all the time. It does leak power steering fluid but I just fill it back up when it gets low so not a huge deal. If you do find one that cheap rn it’s going to be in rough shape in terms of living with the car. Cosmetically it’s going to be shit+ the interior is going to be ass. You’ll have to live with it till you fix her up.

I just got mine 4 days ago , 09 G37X coupe 200,000k miles , 1 owner , garage kept and looks extremely nice ext and int wise . I paid 4500 on it from a dealer local

ngl even if its salvage with a messed up interior/exterior, it honestly is in good shape overall imo and since it runs and drives well at 2900 its a great deal. every single g37 i see is like 10k+ at similar mileage so even fixing up the messed up parts would total to way less than that

He did more than a muffler delete probably had the resonators taken off too because I have a muffler delete and it’s not that loud and not raspy sounding like this one

I have a 2008 skyline 370 GT currently at 396WHP(G37 Coupe) with 240,000km which is almost 156k miles that still runs like a dream and feel more better than brand new. Don’t be underestimating these engines man. I kid you not. I know they have a bad reputation in the sates and that’s the only thing that pisses off.

My 1st 05 G35 coupe manual was in 09 My 2nd 2011 auto was a G37 coupe IPL in 2018 My 3rd was in 2021 another 05 G35 coupe auto And now in 2023 an 04 auto G35 coupe Deep love for these cars but coupes

I’d say so, it feels pretty quick with the 3.6 but I’m sure 3.9 would help a bit with acceleration!

I bought my G35 and it had maxspeedingrods and I have to admit....WORST FUCKING COILOVERS I have ever seen. One even broke on me and it was terrible for a while until I bought BC Racing Coilovers that are still on there and barely two years old at this point. Anyway its just weird to me that someone would intentionally put those on their vehicle. Let me know if that isn't normal its just my experience

There’s a lot of factors honestly, I can say that the way their coilovers are inexpensive is because they do skip the quality checks and controls that a typical coilover company would have. In turn the amount that are bad vs other companies is apparent. Their warranty is pretty good where they’ll make it right but I’ve noticed that some car models have more issues than others, which can also be indicators of quality control in terms of models aswell not just in general. Personally I’ve had good experiences with them, and that may or may not be due to my affiliation that I get a special batch or not but they do all have common things you have to do before installing to make sure they’re good, prepping them and making sure everything is tight on them, etc.

Don’t buy coupes your bank will get down

I’ve had multiple pairs of them and I haven’t had that issue, they are super notorious for making knocking sound that makes it seem like they’re toast but we’ve noticed that tightening the upper nuts fixes the problem!
