bro buy a extra stock ecu so you can pass your smog then swap your tuned ecu back in the car. just baby it during smog testing. nice video this is helping with my coupe

Bro that’s a great idea, and I’ve thought about it aswell, disabling nats on the stock ecu and just reverting back to stock! I had completely forgotten about that haha thank you!!!

Yeah I had this same idea as well, just buy an extra ecu so you can pass smog then put your tuned ecu back in the car.
The driver's side motor on my G died last week and this video was very helpful! Gonna try and tackle this in a week or so. About how long did it take you to do the job?

I had to do the driver's side last year. What a pain in the ass it was. I ended up having to take the window out and realign everything. It seemed so much easier after I took the window out.

Interesting, I’ve never heard of that happening, was there something else apart from the motor you noticed needed to be fixed?
i ordered from the link cause i have the same problem rn but it doesn’t have a reset button, what do i do ?
My passenger window rolls up about as slowly as shown in the video, is this normal? My driver side is much quicker and I thought it was something with my passenger side motor or alignment.

As long as it works properly up and down, you should be good! Something to consider could be the window regulator could be pretty dirty causing it to go slower, not a huge deal honestly

Could possibly be fuel related if you’ve checked plugs and coils, make sure you do a good visual inspection to see if any wires are messed up due to rodent damage!

I did that to my g 35, but when I saw the new video, I don’t see the power lock that’s why I ask you if you change to the original one
Is it worth getting a g35 in 2023? i'm thinking about financing one, good condition idk if it's still worth it. i really want it tho. any suggestions?

if all you care about is the looks of the g35 then yes but if you’re looking for performance then a g37 is superior

Definitely still worth getting a g35 if you have the money to get a clean one, but g37 prices are starting to get closer and closer that it definitely is something to consider if you’re looking for better performance, if it’s looks based, then yeah definitely get a g35!
