Bike in this vid is not 2.5k, and either intentionally misleading or he should have checked. The 2.5k version (still a great deal) does not have ABS, color screen, etc, etc. Add that stuff and it's way more $. I may still order one as it's still a solid deal, but FYI to those thinking they are getting all that for 2.5k. My only complaint is no rack option. I like a rack as there's lots of stuff I need to carry with me.
Awesome job on the review man! I also have the Revenant and I’m loving it!
Great job on the video! Thanks for making it.
The power drop near the end is a brilliant idea. My ebike just dies with no warning, because it’s such a heavy bike its hard to ride it as a bike.
I've had the Nireeka Homie for about 3 years. I use it for moderate mtn biking. It's been incredibly solid. Meets all my needs. Yeah replacement parts can be on the expensive side and your lbs will likely not work on it. So I've learned to work on it all myself (I've changed out all the electronics myself). One of my all time fave bikes.

I love the design of this bike, It's like Bike 2.0 or something futuristic like that. Sometimes you see hydraulic brakes on a bike and think that might be overkill, here the ABS system fits. I agree about the battery management. It's smart because the last 10 % of any ev battery is just unlivable territory. This is probably, at best, a 20 mile bike unless they make a larger battery which I think they totally could without sacrificing the design too much. But it's going to be a luxurious 20 miles. Although at nearly 2500 I start wondering if it'd just be simpler to get a small electric motorcycle.
@thetechgenie7374

You can’t bring a motorcycle to trails so worth it on that aspect especially if you going on paved and non paved trails. Reason why I still use ATV, a motorcycle and e-bikes you need a different tool for different job. $2500 is not bad if it is a decent carbon frame and tolerances are good no slop?
That's a beauty!👍
I'm curious.. I have a yakima bike rack and wondering if this frame will work. Anyone know?
What ebikes has 2 motors and you can put 2 batteries on the bike and has the most towing capacity and torque ?

How would you compare this to the Nireeka Prime, and where is it by the way? I haven't seen the prime in your garage. I think discussing the power feel between the mid mounted motor on prime vs the hub mounted motor on the revenant.

Does your bike have the remote suspension lockout? If so can you comment on it?
I own a Homie (1st gen), few thoughts... The wiring loom is a mess and my local ebike guy wont touch it. In fact its been difficult to find someone to work on it in an Aussie city of 4 million people! I was dazzled by the ful carbon frame and the fancy Diore bits, I forgot the servicing. Try fitting a rack for carrying things...Thule make and expensive rack that fits the front....what sort of effective mud guards?? Topeak?Mudhugger? This bike does road speeds...there are no standard or suggested mirrors and indicators for safety???? My Homie is good for a thrash around some soft (SOFT) tracks, but is useless for practical things and because of no traffic related safety fittings (horn, indicators etc) the bike unsafe around other vehicles. You can keep up with cars but you are unable to participate with them in awareness. (seven stitches and a broken nose later....Im speaking from experience). And finally....spare parts arent cheap from Nireeka and the backlog of customer dissatisfaction from non delivery, slippery communication and NO ONE LOCAL means you are running the risk of holding a white elephant. My Homie wont go, and no one will fix it. When it does go, I literally cant bring a bag of shopping home on it. If yr sold by the design, as I was. Enjoy it, but be cautious buying it. Its a capable machine with no traffic manners and very low serviceability. If i was spending the money again? Save a bit more and buy from some on with a face (local) who will service it.
That bike is awesome,got to get one 😊
I wish they went with a black and gold color scheme that would be insane
Could it be shipped to northern Ireland, I'm in the process of opening a ebike rental business in Co Down, would love to give this company a shot.
Sick looking indeed.
How fast should you be able to peddle without peddle-assist? I cannot really peddle my bike without peddle-assist. I tried again today and I went an astounding 4 mph. Really super fast. I weigh 215-218 lbs and my bike is 66 lbs. I was carrying a 20 lb sack.

This a very nice looking Ebike. Is that a hub motor on it? It looks like a mountain bike, but it is made to endure the rigorous trails with climbs and drops? I heard that eMntBikes should have mid drive motors. Opinions? What does it weigh.
@eBikify
Жыл бұрын
I own this bike. It’s light bc of the carbon frame. It’s about 50-55lbs. 1000w rear hub motor. Plenty of power and acceleration and climbing abilities bc of the lightweight frame and powerful motor. It uses very high quality materials and frame so it’s definitely sturdy for mountain biking / trails
Very nice bike. If I were a little lighter I'd consider buying one.
You can probably change settings on the 20% range adjustment
“Incredibly light”? How much does it weigh?
I don't really care for a traditional style mountain bike (it's all flat here) but for that price and features I might have to just for kicks. I always wanted to try a carbon fiber frame. A friend of mine as a regular full suspension bike with a carbon fiber frame, it looks pretty much just like that one and it isn't even electric and he paid I believe 2800 for it. Might have to get one. Thanks.

My thoughts exactly...kinda misleading title. Watch the whole video and he's still stating that it's still $2200 to $2,500 at the end, but that bike has all the upgrades making it closer to $5000. Seeing e motorcycles around that cost that are faster and closer to 100 mile range.

Agreed. Nice bike, but with those options it's going to cost twice as much as what he's saying. HUGE issue there. Also, "100% carbon fiber". So does that mean the wheels too?

@ Equinox Note it’s only the FRONT brake that’s ABS. THE rear is just regular. Hydraulic disc bike brake. That’s why the REAR tire skid. If you notice the front one didn’t lock up. I think for best stability both ends should be ABS

Is it waterproof? I live in Oregon and it rains a good amount, I’ve had many of failures because of rain and sadly most e-bikes are not waterproof, I’ve got a 1,200 w 48 v waterproof kit from ebikeling, full on heavy rain and keeps on rocking, my factory bikes all said they were water resistant and all had power cuts and failures in heavier rain, but the ebikeling kit has never left me stranded, I’m disabled and can’t drive so biking is my life, help me find a factory ebike that’s waterproof please, love your channel

it's also a carbon ebike. Nireeka is around 26kg, with rear motor H550, whose weight is 4.3kg. For a mid motor M620, its weight comes to 6.3kg. And the bike finally comes to 28kg. With Tubeless, it could be less than 27kg.

Yes. I own this bike. I haven’t bought fenders yet but I do know that Rockshox fenders fit it. And if you Google “mountain bike fenders”, a lot of those should fit. I love the frame style. Now that a proper ebike and not to costly for what it is until you add the options? But still a decent bike. If didn’t already spend $2400 on the custom middrive Bafang Ultra that had built which is good I would definitely buy it if looking for a prebuilt. The ABS is nice but not needed as learn over the years how to feather and modulate the brakes myself if going to lockup the wheel. For someone new to sensitive hydraulic brakes is a great option.

Not bad for a casual ebike, components are decent and onpar with budget to mid-range bikes at $2500 range. But Hub motor, No name fork, X-Fusion rear, Deore groupset all are budget to mid components, and at 55lbs+ it's not what I would call premium or lightweight ebike. If you want real premium components, think Rockshox or Fox suspensions, Shimano XTR or SRAM XX1 group set/brakes etc, lightweight as in 35-38lbs, will easily cost you over $10k , like the Specialized S-Works Turbo Levo SL, or the Orbea Rise M-LTD.
That's not a bad price for 1000 watts and a carbon fiber frame.
I think they need to use 2700 cells and get UL certified . Could have done that on the Mega
Mid drive, ABS, carbon frame hopefully in their next version
that paint job screams "steal me" that's a literal beacon 😂😂😂 definitely don't keep that out for long if that was in my area a person would shamelessly try to steal it
