Great to hear someone else say they "just like old cars". Certainly new cars (and especially supercars) leave me cold. Searched for E46 M3 and got here. I always struggle to imagine how certain interior parts get damaged throughout a car's life; even more why they don't get fixed. Look forward to the fettling!

Welcome to the E46 ///M3 family. Once you do the SMG to manual swap, it will be game over.

I suggest an AVIN headunit. It looks identical to the OEM Nav unit down to the finish of the plastic of the housing! It can run wireless carplay I love it

Munich legends are looking after mine. Road Radio do brill bmw infotainment. Defo get rust done. Might be CSL “style” wheels from bmw (from CS or comp package) And looking forward to seeing more on this!

The face-lift was mid 2003. If had my e46 from new and waited until summer 2003 to get one of the first face-lift cars.

honest question - what was facelift for e46 m3 after 05?

Its a nice car... love the seats... manual ot electric? So tell us, how much did you pay for it? 8000?

I’ve just won a smg convertible on collecting cars, smg. Looking at my history, replace diff oil and gearbox oil. May make a world of difference for not much bucks. At full chat my smg is one step below lightning. Only slow one is down to 2nd.

They asked if I was 'posing' for a photo and whether I needed help. I then explained I was making a video and they apologised for ruining it! That's when it cuts back to me saying not at all.

This is a facelift car, FYI M3 E46 only got subtle changes at the rear like LED lights.

No this is wrong. In 2003 they Made a Facelift for Coupé and cabrio e46, but not for the m3. They just changed to LED lights in the back, thats all. I think you are the fool, make your research:)

@@dennisl7116 You fool, with all these official changes it’s a facelift changed rear lights to led and front to xenon.- Cab Central Brake light made clear. -SatNav Control unit upgraded to DVD play with aux - Bluetooth Phone Kit added - Climate Control Buttons changed - aluminium interior trim added.
