After the death threat I definitely would not be spending any time alone with him to give him opportunity. I bet he wants to spend some time with his son so he can make him pay for turning him in, and the daughter would obviously help cover it up. The fact that his father has no remorse and still sees it as a protest where he did nothing wrong, tells me he can't be trusted.

The Capitol rioter turned in by his son got 87 months in prison. His sentence is the longest imposed on any of the US Capitol rioters. He was facing a 15 year prison term. The judge declined to apply domestic terrorism enhancement. His wife Nicole Reffitt told reporters the trial shows that "corrupt, evil politicians here in this city" are trying to undermine US civil liberties. "This isn't just about Guy Wesley Reffitt. This isn't about just January 6th. This is about our liberties being stomped on," she argued. I honestly don't know why the son wants to talk to his family if this is how they feel. Alfons Heck, then a member of the Hitler Youth, recalled the effects of the law that encouraged citizens to report their family or friends who disparage the (Nazi) Party. In 1938, he was living with his grandparents when his father came to visit. See quote: “In retrospect, I think it was the last time my father railed against the regime in front of me. . . . He wasn’t much of a drinker, but when he had a few too many, he had a tendency to shout down everyone else, not a small feat among the men of my family. “You mark my words, Mother,” he yelled, “that goddamned Austrian housepainter is going to kill us all before he’s through conquering the world.” And then his baleful eye fell on me. “They are going to bury you in this goddamned monkey suit [his Hitler Youth uniform], my boy,” he chuckled, but that was too much for my grandmother. “Why don’t you leave him alone, Du dummer Narr [you stupid fool],” she said sharply, “and watch your mouth; you want to end up in the KZ [the German abbreviation for concentration camp]?” He laughed bitterly and added: “So, it has come that far already, your own son turning you in?” My grandmother told me to leave the kitchen, but the last thing I heard was my father’s sarcastic voice. “Are you people all blind? This thing with the Jews is just the beginning."

It's one thing for a son to report to the FBI that his father is planning or has committed a clearly dangerous act. But having a son testify against his father is something that only amoral, godless bolsheviks used to teach children in their communist youth movement to do. Their great hero was a kid named Pavlov Morozov who reported on his parents that they hid a few kernels of wheat during the artificial famine when all crops and food were confiscated from the people. Hiding food was conceding a state crime. As a consequence his parents were executed. For decades Morozov was worshipped as a hero to be modeled after. Family bonds should be considered sacred, son turning against his father or father against his son is the beginning of the fall of humanity. Jackson has brought down a curse on himself, his children and descendants to the seventh generation. On the other hand, where were you, Mandy, when relatives of leftist terrorists of the 1960s-1970s were helping those murderers hide and escape and not turning them in? Your notion of integrity is full of hypocrisy and stinks. Your relatives are likely embarrassed to have you in their family celebrating familes being torn apart for the sake of a totalitarian state. Your comment has brought further shame on your miserable existence. Hope your kids don't get into the habit of turning you in for every deed that leftists consider as a crime against climate change, gender identity, a Marxist fuhrer. Hope they don't denounce you on national TV. What goes around comes around.

All true, but slightly in her defense, she may very well have been brainwashed to tolerate it after all these years. She needs to kick him to the curb, file for divorce immediately, and find another place to live far away. And if she's afraid the kids may tell him where she moves, don't tell them. Classic long term psychological abuse or Stockholm syndrome.

Beg to differ, the mother is also a major part of the issue. Read below the signed affidavit she provided to the FBI investigators. Last statement on the threats made by her husband on killing his own kids. "Reffitt’s wife, who was not home when her husband allegedly threatened their children, confronted her husband. She says he told her “he was trying to protect the family, and if someone was a traitor, then that’s what’s going to happen,” according to the FBI. Reffitt’s wife told the FBI that her husband is “super passionate” but didn’t believe he would act on his threats. She added he “did not indicate regret or take anything back,” according to the affidavit."
