I’m so happy Heartstopper talks about the issues bi people face and that Zavid brought it up too, because as a bi man it’s so exhausting having to keep saying “I’m bi actually”. People laughed about how Nick kept saying it, but it is SO accurate! Even friends I have told that I’m bi (multiple times) still question it saying “you can just tell me if you’re gay” or “it’s just a phase every gay person goes thru”. I know Tao's haircut is a hot issue for people, but ever since I found out that the reason he kept it long and styled like that was like because of the school's code against students having longer hair. He was doing it as a stand with Elle, who likely got in trouble for trying to grow her hair out before she transferred. It just makes me emotional, everything about them makes me emotional. Omg, and the seeing a trans character not only get such a beautiful First Kiss scene in Paris, but also the fucking *foot pop* ??? iconic, will never stop crying over them

That's entirely a headcanon made up by fans. It's not stated once in the show or the comic, where Tao has always had short hair.

They gave him the haircut to make him look less attractive, that’s been more or less confirmed by Oseman (Will Gao’s literally a model). The hair length Elle thing was never stated in the show and Tao doesn’t have long hair in the comics. That’s just something fans created out of thin air.

It may not be often, and ofc he not obligated to do so, but I love when zzavid opens up a little and show vulnerability and able to take accountability on past experience, just makes me respect him more as a person❤

I wish they had spent more time with Isaac having doubts after his kiss with James instead of conveniently meeting someone who just explains his own deal to him in the same episode. I’m sure it was validating for some viewers, but from a storytelling standpoint, It felt very rushed to me.

It feels like Oseman didn’t want Isaac to suffer too much so she freed him immediately by giving him an answer, when i feel like a lot of queer people go through a long and uncomfortable process to understand themselves. I would have rather he went through some hardship (like trying to conform and be in a relationship with James even though it doesn’t work) before getting his answer, because I think more people would have related to that. But in the end, Heartstopper is very wholesome and comforting, so I guess it works for the kind of show it is.

as someone who has dealt (and is still dealing) with an eating disorder, it broke my heart to see Charlie suffering. I suffer from anorexia and binge eating. A lot of people think that ppl with anorexia just want to be skinny and lose weight. And others sometimes view binge eating as a fat person who can't control their appetite. That may be some cases but not all of them. There is so much that goes into these disorders. Similar to Charlie, I sometimes eat less as a form of control over my body, and when Im dealing with body image issues (which happens A LOT). I binge eat when I feel super stressed and anxious as a way to cope and a form of comfort. People need to look out for signs, cuz if no one notices when someone's eating habits change rapidly, it can quickly become a problem and it is so hard to break those habits

Wow, it was really amazing to see David be do vulnerable. He makes me laugh a lot usually, but this was very moving. Thank you for telling us about your experiences, I’m sure a lot of viewers feel seen and heard and can relate even more to you than to the show.

I love this season for 2 reasons, isaac's asexual discovery (I can relate to it), and Charlie standing up to ben and not forgiving him (I think that's such a powerful lesson. Why diminish the pain you are feeling to make some one else feel better about themselves just because they expect to be forgiven if they apologised).

But it always cheers me up a little watching your videos and while I love your usual horror content and sex jokes, I'm so glad you shared a little of your personal experience not only regarding the topic of eating disorders but also that thing you had with the asexual person. As an asexual myself I totally get it, you being scared and running it's so natural and I feel like I'd do the same for the opposite reasons, you know? instead of explaining I would run away. You’ve been keeping me entertained and mentally together during the hardest part of my life recently, and I’m so thankful I discovered your channel one random night at like 4am when I was seriously depressed and really needed a laugh or just anything. Suffice to say I almost stayed up til 10am watching your Euphoria reactions and I still keep notifs on to this day. I genuinely could credit your content with helping to keep me mentally afloat during that time and I don’t know what I would have done without the laughs. when I got my first bf, I was 14 and so young. my friend mentioned to me how she overheard someone talking about why someone as attractive as him was with me. I became so insecure and made me feel anxious on if I was ever good enough for anyone. If other people were questioning why I had someone, there must’ve been something wrong with me. It was the worst feeling of my life, people are so cruel. but definitely growing and healing every day from it ❤ thank you so much for opening up, currently in a headspace where so much is going on and having this video of you opening up is so comforting
