The real crime is that this movie only recieved _one_ Oscar nomination, which was (deservingly) Best Actress for Rosamund Pike. But no Best Picture. No Best Directing for Fincher's amazing work. And worst of all: no Best Adapted Screenplay for Gillian Flynn who adapted her own novel to a screenplay, even making significant changes in the plot to make it even more interesting.

I feel like this movie did for young impressionable women what Fight Club did for young impressionable men. And sure enough its the same director David Fincher. Just brilliant.
I can tell this video is gonna be GREAT.
It's hard to see her as a villain. It truly is. Like Oprah once said, "I don't know a better person."
I love how your response to anything over an hour and thirty minutes is…girl bye! 😂
Pretty sure this story was inspired by the Lacy/Scott Peterson case. Which is similar in a lot of ways to the Chris Watts case. Anyway. The resemblance between Scott Peterson and Ben Affleck is uncanny. And him smiling next to his wife's missing poster... Yeah that actually happened 😭
Honey miss thing gave the performance of her life in this movie that cool girl monologue is quite relatable. And she won in the end I loved for her
Guuuuuurl, the "not giving a shit about something that everyone hypes up" attitude is so relatable. It's like, I'm happy you love that thing so much, that doesn't mean I have to give one shit about it 🤷♀️😂
I love that you went into this not knowing a thing about it, since that twist is so famous now. It made watching your reaction absolutely delightful.
I discovered you through your Euphoria season 1 reacts and I’m so glad I subscribed and stuck around. I know you say we made your year but you have no idea how much joy your videos have brought me during honestly one of my worst years. I’m in a better place now but I’m still delighted and can’t wait to get home from work every time I receive a notification for a new video! Wishing you an incredible 2023 and may things only keep going up for here! You deserve all the success you’ve received and all that’s coming! ❤️

Thank you so much my luv, and I had a blast🔥 and it’s my absolute pleasure, but I just wanna thank you for watching and supporting my crazy self 💜 it really means the world to me💜💜
Oh I already know you’re going to love Amy, even before watching this. We love our insane queen 🥵🥵
I think most who watch this movie feel the exact same way. We all know she's twisted and deserves an electric chair...... but she's so good at it! And we generally know what it feels like to spend our whole lives trying to be perfect, to be loved. To give everything to someone. And we know that if they were to take it all, give nothing back, cheat, and leave..... we would want to do the same. Most of us wouldn't actually do it. But we'd want to. It's a twisted revenge fantasy.
I love this movie as sort of a fantasy for doing away with an abusive husband. Because we know Amy left a trail of evidence to support the claim that nick killed her, but she didn't invent the affair, and by the point nick denies having pushed her, he could very well be lying bc he knows it wouldn't look good

Amy does imply she was lying when she tells him he has to confess to those stories she made up.
