R* should have implemented taxi missions in GTA IV. But at least the Vigilante missions were a massive improvement over its predecessors.

If you combine 2 good map mods you will see interesting result. I found them and after testing was not happy with small default grey map in the menu without zoom, so i dropped already unpacked files from "radar.img" of "Google Map IV Mod Bonus (pause menu map) 0.1" mod to another downloaded mod "GTA 4 Atlas / Colored Map 8K with Radar Mod" which is was opened in OpenIV and after replace half of it this combo gives me street names on zooming map and colorful map from "Atlas" on small map in the menu. Greys just were gone, forever. And my radar now always show "Google Map" mod style with names. This idea of mixing them came to me spontaneously and as i see it worked out very interestingly.

Because of you, I now want to install GTA 4 mods, I know that there a lot of videos showing you how to do it but most aren't as helpful as they should be. could you maybe make a video showing us things such as the sites you use and how to properly get the mods working. And apparently because of the new steam update, mods can now be a tad dodgy I have heard. Anyways just a little video idea.

I started modding about 2 weeks ago and things to keep watch are, new map mods these eat your FPS, CryENB destroys FPS unless your PC can handle it, I have a laptop so it fucking sucks with it, and RealityIV2.0 is sooooo much better. You won’t need to scroll on sites, just search up the mod you want, and only click if it is gtaforums, gta 4 mods, steam, gtainside, gamemodding, or you can check the description of Rob’s 25+ and 50+ mod showcase. I HIGHLY suggest using OpenIV to open files such as weapons.img or any .img file. I suggest starting out with Keele’s weapon damage mod or modding vehicles and weapons. Downgrade using JoshuaFrameTV’s videos if you have the steam edition. Version 1.0.7.0 is best. Wish you best of luck and ask me questions. @@wanilimbe Hello! If you dont mind me bugging you with some questions :D - Should I get the Steam or Rockstar version? Ie: Do these mods work regardless of the launcher? - Do both versions have to be downgraded to 1070 in order to get these to work?

Hey Rob, hope you're good my brotha! You should unlock memberships on your channel so everyone can support you without actually going off KZread. For gaming channels, the requirements are 1,000 subscribers while regularly it would require 30,000 subscribers. I kinda lucked out and KZread thought I was a gaming channel lol. I've found that the "Realistic Driving 1.05" (The oldest version Killatomate made for Realistic Driving & Flying), is the most realistic with the speed, handling, braking, deformation and turning. If you scroll down on the files page (Download links) as seen on here: www.gtagarage.com/mods/show.php?id=5529 you'll see the oldest version. ‍ Also been using this mod which is very good for gunfights in the streets: www.gtagaming.com/everyone-hates-niko-f11675.html The "Everyone Hates Niko" mod makes everyone gang up on you when you attack one person, so be cautious of that. It's really funny to watch when you throw Molotovs/Grenades out of your car window, and then NPCs try to ram you in with their cars. Even the Burger Shot/Clunkin' Bell/Paramedic Staff have guns.

I want to install GTA 4 mods soo bad but I can’t downgrade to 1.0.4.0, I’ve used tons and tons of videos but can’t find one for my Steam version I bought back in 2016. We need a video or maybe you can comment a link to install 1.0.4.0 or 1.0.7.0 which ever is better for low end pc’s. Your the first modder I’ve seen that enjoys using fictional cars instead of 2020 Mercedes Benz with a bunch of 2000s and 90s cars.

hey Sully, sorry I personally don't know how to fix that but I recommend looking up modern tutorials and they should explain how to avoid rockstar or steam recognising that your game is downgraded. best of luck!

Hey I’m looking to get a gaming laptop or desktop to run gta 4 really smooth like you are. My budget is 600$ is there anything I can get specifically to run smooth? In ur opinion I want it to be able to handle these mods

Build a gaming PC and make sure the first thing you think about is 12gb ram or higher. 1660 NIVIDIA is a great graphics card. Those 2 alone will get you to 250 dollars so spend the rest wisely. If you want all the mods and graphics mods he has on medium high setting get 12gb ram

With that accent and video quality how in the name all f&$@ery do you not have at least a 100k subs but you know what. you will, i know a 100k sub channel when a see one. keep up the good work

Question, did you downgrade GTA 4 before installing all these mods? My game glitches out and buildings and roads seem to never appear when I install a few mods on the Steam version. Did you ever experience such issues?

I have downgraded my GTA 4 Complete Edition to 1.0.7.0 but I am quite confused that how can I add these mods to the DLCs of this game too. Well please make a video about it and the installation of these mods

What version of the game you have? The Complete Edition messed up with mods and everything...

Rob, I just bought GTA 4 On steam and the performance is atrocious: 25FPS and overall poor performance. Its making me wish I never bought the game and just kept playing on Xbox. Any tips to stablising this on pc?
