I think the best idea for the builder base would be to have the option to 'store' certain buildings (just like you can with decorations in the main village). You would only be allowed to choose a set number of defences (e.g., 3 ground defences, 3 air defences) at once, but could at any time change them for other buildings/defences you have 'stored'. This would reduce the complexity of the builder base and make attacks more strategic rather than just spam. Also, why not have a clan castle in the builder base, which you can fill with troops either from your clan, or maybe even your main village?

The main problem with Builder Base is, that the only reason you would play it again is for Clan Games/Campain. Yet everyone probably agrees, that the only reason everyone levels up the Builder Base is for O.T.T.O as the 6th builder and that is honestly the only benefit for your main base. I assume the redesign will give the Builder Base a new purpose why you would want to play it, give more interesting gameplay.

I hope redesign will see less buildings on the base, but more to choose from. So players get to really personalize their defensive layout.

One suggestion that I have for the redesign is to kinda revert the amount of buildings there are back to the amount in like builder hall 5 and instead of adding new special buildings, they could add special powers to the towers such as the archer tower or canon. It could be similar to that of the spell tower in the home base where the more you upgrade, the more options for “special abilities” you get. And you could switch between them, just like the spell tower. An example for the special ability could be to maybe have a chain lighting effects for only the tall archer tower.

5:59 I loved that old intro, it was like an extention to the music of your intro!

For me the troop abilities won't be changed, or if they do so, they'll remove/add new troops. Some like the Night Witch and the Cannon Cart are paired with Clash Royale, with would make it weird that something works differently one game to another (for example the babarian hut makes barbarians, and it's supposed to be a level 1 barrack), and (lots of) others are paired with the Clan Capital, which means they would also redesign them. For me it would be pointless. Maybe add some new troops, but not remove any existing troops nor their abilities

9:55 I think not, I have both books before and I want to upgrade King. I must use Book of Everything first rather than swap it with Book of Heroes. I hope Clash team implement a swap option in the future updates

I think a good builder base redesign is that you design your base with just a smaller subset of your buildings, and you redesign every week or so. Then, when people attack you, maybe they are limited in which troops they can use.

One thing that might've helped a lot is using raid medals for loot in builder base , as compared to home village raid medals gives much more value in builder base

I’m so close to getting the 6th builder, but it’s such an aggravating experience since it take almost a week or more to do one upgrade for a building/battle machine. I really hope that in this redesign they lower the cost or increase the amount of loot per attack to be able to progress a bit faster.

Judo, I have a suggestion for the starting War menu which you can probably get to the developers of the game. Everytime I start a war, I do not know who is active and who is inactive. If we could have a list like they do in the clan menu before starting War. I think it would be an excellent game changer. Just being able to sort out my members based on trophies, activity, would help so much more with starting War. And they already got the program developed in clan menu, so putting it to the war menu should not be that big of an issue. Then again I do not do coding

You can remove grass from the barbarian statues by placing a building on the grass. It doesn’t cost any elixer to do this but it doesn’t count for the remove obstacles challenge in the clan games

For removing grass without elixir and clearing them one by one, just take any building and place it on top of the grass and it would simply disappear
