DMV yes, we are crab snobs 😂 I only eat them there, at families or my own. The simpler the better. They are so easy to make. But it’s the fresh crabmeat that makes the difference. The pasteurized just doesn’t hit right. My absolute favorite thing to eat in the world! Please make the okra, rice & shrimp. I can’t find a recipe.

You can’t say that the DMV does not use onion, celery and bell pepper in their crab cakes. Maybe you might find that in the restaurants but when I make my crab cakes at home, I definitely use those three things in my crab cakes. Wouldn’t make them w/o it.
