I applied only to Harvard... and stupidly, got in.
This is the story of how I got into Harvard.
I'll discuss my motivations for why I chose Harvard and give you a play-by-play of what I did to achieve this. If that's something you're looking to do or just want to listen to a story of someone stupidly trying to achieve something for all the wrong reasons, this is for you. I'll share all my secrets and some hard-earned lessons that will hopefully make your journey that much easier.
If you are interested in more stories related to academic success, productivity tips and other random nuggets of wisdom (and stupidity) please consider subscribing! Hopefully you'll learn from my experience so you can achieve everything you may want in life and more!
WHO AM I?

This is a really great video. The strategies are useful but the stories are just cherry on the cake! 😂

All the clubs and leadership he did were just fluff on his resume. What really pushed him forward is him doing research and the national competitions. Take it from someone who did them in high school. If you went to ISEF, STS, or whatever new stuff is out there. You have a ticket to the ivy league. Provided ofc that you have good grades.

Science research helps but I disagree. My son did science research, got to Intel ISEF, and was valedictorian. It was not enough. Oddly, I think break dancing and being from an immigrant family (1st generation?) were more important. Leadership badges were probably also very important.
Excellent, great job. Keep them coming
Very high quality product(video) especially for so few subscribers.Well now you have one more!

I’m glad you enjoyed it! Will try and inject more humor in my future videos too
It's very insightful to understand your honest thinking and motivations to getting into Harvard. I had always wondered why I could never get that simple motivation to just do it. I know what it looks but I guess I was relaxed about the future I was going to have. *side note what if your debate against AOC motivated her to be where she is today.

I’m glad I was able to provide that insight for you! It is always interesting to me to hear others’ point of view too
Glad I found this hidden gem. I’m a freshman and my goal is to.. go to Harvard so I’m not homeless. 😂 I’m not quite sure what I want to be involved in, but I want to build up a solid resume. Do you think just getting involved in everything and searching what I am passionate about/find interesting is a solid approach? Then from there I can get some shiny badges.
im so sorry for all the kids that had to go through this. I went to community college at 22 after dropping out at like 14. got 4.0 and am taking MCAT now at 35. Oh, I forgot to mention another 10 years of life aggro went by as well. Oh well! In seriousness, I can't imagine how much easier college would have been if I had spent years honing my academic skills prior.
WHAT! The fact you went to the same school, same cohort, with AOC omg
This was a very entertaining video, i laughed at your AOC story lmao

Hahaa glad you enjoyed it!
Really interesting story! Feel like the AOC story is really unique, surprised it's not at least in the thumbnail ("I beat out AOC for President") 😁

Actually that’s an amazing idea 💡! You’re hired!
😂❤I love that you took down AOC 👏 I hope she doesn’t read my comment 😭 So many people never try, so as long as a person tries, they have a chance at success. Fear stops a lot of people from trying. I like to say fear is a cautionary ⚠️ sign, not a stop 🛑 sign. Loved your story, so obvious you’re a writer ✍️ 👀 (I think you might just have been responsible for lighting a match under 😭’s ass.)
Harvard saw a hard working humble self-deprecating funny contributing young man, and they said: “Yes!”
The way you took the presidential election seriously and roasted the other candidate, just to apologize with flowers is hilarious 😂
You gonna skyrocket real quick, to being a KZreadr somewhere where everybody knows you. ("Again OP'ing AOC")

Yooo, thank you!! Do colleges look at every course you take? I was a bad student in 6th grade got a 4/5 on the math final so I can’t take calculus till my 2nd year.

You are good! Colleges only look at high school grades so as long as you’ve mastered good study habits by then, you’re golden!
Honestly you'd be surprised by how common this obsession with getting into top colleges is today
You're infinitely more interesting to listen to than AOC. Would be amazing to see you challenge her congressional seat. Bet it would be a repeat of high school all over again!
👍👍👍
In a way, maybe you were one of the catalysts that led AOC to do so well in her political career. She had to get rekt as a teen to then rek everyone else as an adult. haha!
I think it’s crazy because I didn’t have any clubs at my private high school… appart from selling pains au chocolat during the break? But you had to be liked by the professor for that That’s interesting
hey it would really help us if we built a discord server where you can guide us at this time i really need a mentor it would really help me if you could guide me through application process
Hi thank you so much for your content. Would it be possible to talk to you regarding my application please? ☺️

Would love to see this! Thanks for sharing
So AOC phoned it in, and cried after a debate with you? And this person is now in Congress??!!
You are not the first bright student I know that overworked worked in highschool, got into Harvard, and then slacked off. With your approach you burn out early. I would not recommend it to any student.
Ofc great video, but how do we know you're the real deal - not an impersonator? As many motivational creators sadly make their back story up.
