Nah. They are not happy that Sweden does not give people who applied for, and got, asylum years and years ago, (some whom now have Swedish citizenship) just because Erdogan say they are criminals or terrorists.

I've heard 2 versions of pronouncing "varangian" in english - some read g as it's usually read as (slav version is the combo letter "dž"(d +zh), and some as gh(which is normal g in slavics). Which one is correct, may the linguists clear that bit up. Regarding the dakotas and virginias in the us, why it never occured to anyone to join those into just 1 dakota and 1 virginia? You'd have 2 extra stars to grant a statehood to(puerto rico maybe)?

My understanding is that the "two" Dakotas had been a single U.S. territory until 1889, when they were suddenly admitted as two states. The president at the time, Benjamin Harrison (R), was worried about his re-election prospects in 1892, so he hurriedly admitted Washington State, Montana, and not one but two Dakotas, believing that they would all vote Republican in the next election, giving Harrison a bunch of extra electoral votes.
