I am still a Jew But Updated | JUDAISM TO ISLAM

The story of a Jewish girl who found Moses, Jesus, and Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh) prayed to the same God. She understood that the Quran is the updated version of the Torah and reverted to Islam.
She is active on different social media doing her Dawah activities, We are sharing some of the links to connect with her and hearing her stories.

Dear revert brother/sister in Imaan, I am very glad that you have recognised the truth God has revealed in the Quran and couldn't resist Islam. I am your brother all the way from India. I am a revert Muslim too. I hope and pray my advice helps you in your journey with God, and to God. I would like to advise you to take your deen primarily from the Quran and become more Quran-centric in your understanding of Islam. While you may need to turn to Hadith to fulfill the obligations set by Allah such as Salah (Daily prayers), fasting, Hajj, charity, and moral goodness but not rely on it blindly when it tries to push Arabian culture as Islam, create a narrow sectarian mindset, and tries to demonise the character of the nobleProphet (Pbuh) or when it clearly contradicts the Quran in at least 20 different matters. Therefore, for believers of sound intellect who like to think deeply and not not get swayed by emotional sectarian rhetoric about the Prophet (Pbuh) and follow the clergy obsessed cults blindly (I did that for over a decade before becoming obsessed with the Quran for all answers and direction), there are many aspects of Hadiths which appear quite spurious and even in direct contradiction with the Quran. You need to be particularly careful when certain stories found in the Hadith collection (compiled more than 200 years after the Prophet but considered very holy and unquestionable by sectarian clergy ulema), portray the Prophet’s (pbuh) noble character in very poor light. I would advise you to not believe everything blindly because Muslims make you believe in those spurious stories with a lot of zeal, which they have been made to believe through years of institutionalised sectarian indoctrination. I would advise you to exercise caution when exploring the Hadith canon. But the Quran being God’s final revelation is fully protected from human corruption. However, while the other secondary sources of Islamic knowledge may contain some prophetic truth within it, but do not believe everything which Muslims have been made to believe through these books saying certain books are as pure and reliable as the Quran. Do bear in mind that Muslims are good people and are very sincere in what they believe about the Hadiths. So it's ok to avoid disagreements when it comes to issues which emerge from certain problematic Hadeeths. Even early Islamic history seems highly distorted due to these man-made ‘holy’ books and this understanding of Islam by new Muslims does create many problems for the Muslim community around the world especially the trouble it creates for reverts with their own family and close friends can be avoided if you become more Quran centric and avoid argument over cultural and ethnic matters. Hadeeth centric Islam isolates you from the wider world by making you change your culture and appear very foreign and alien like to the local people and creates many psychological barriers for people of faith from other religions to consider islam seriously because it tries to change EVERYTHING about you whereas the QURAN only expects you to fix your character and faith not your appearance or culture. None of the previous prophets tried to do this but hadeeth centric Islam does it and thinks this is what Allah has prescribed. I pray Allah always guides you to HIS WAY, and not some sectarian way, made up by people after the Prophet left this world and that Allah keeps you protected from satanic deceptions in matters of faith. Ameen. In my 15 years experience, most Muslims are very Hadith-centric and expect reverts to follow Islam which is predominantly from Hadeeths and not the Quran. Most Muslims, even those who are actively practicing Islam, are only aware of the beautiful side of hadeeth corpus but are generally kept unaware of the problematic side so if if you blindly follow things which are not from the Quran, you may end up making all kinds of enemies for yourself especially your own family will find you very problematic. But it's not the case when you're more Quran centric in your understanding and practice of Islam.

Though all Abrahamic religions came in the pure form, it started going through changes as soon as the prophets left and finally now its a lot different from what it originally was. Christianity is the one that deviated the most expecially with the arguments like trinity and son of God. Judaism is the closest to islam because both have similar monotheism to a great extend. However all except Islam lost the actual message to mankind - that we were created as souls in the world of souls and we pledged to surrender to God and we agreed to take the test of coming to this world and proving our obedience and that we will be judged on the day of judgement according to how we fulfilled that pledge. This message is lost in both Judaism and Christianity.

I have always wondered how Jewish Muslims resolve the issue of the Shabbat , the Quran clearly affirmed it in An-Nisa (4-154) to not violate the Shabbat for jews. Muslims don't keep the shabbat as its not ordained for gentiles/non-jews. If you read it literally just by being a Jew you have to keep the shabbat even if you're Muslim. I am sure other Muslims would make some excuses. Like wise there's no law prohibit jewish Muslims from observing shabbat.

Though numerous genetic studies on the Y chromosome has proved conclusively that there is no distinct ethnic/racial group called "jewish" with a common male ancestor who lived around the time of jacob and his sons (which one would expect for the real children of jacob/israel), nevertheless it is nice that brave people like her are returning to the religion of abraham, isaac, jacob, moses and ahron. the Quran repeatedly exhorts jews (non-israelite converts to a variant of sadduceanism, as there were no talmudic jews in arabia at any time, and who lived in medina at the time of the prophet (pbuh)), nasara (christians?) and bani israeli, such as the quraish, banu khazraj, banu aws, banu najjar and so forth who followed sadduceanism but introduced innovations in it, to return to the pure religion of their genetic forefathers. the zadokite priesthood never accepted jesus as an israelite, let alone an israelite prophet, since israelite lineage can only be through the father. bani israel are male descendants of abraham, isaac and jacob and not sarah, rebecca and leah and so forth. jesus had no father and therefore for the israelites he was not one of them. with prophet muhammad (pbuh), the quraish (descendants of adnan (hannan/an'an or onias IV), being an israelite was never a question. the problem was that he said G-D has now made non-israelites equal to the zadokite/sadducee priesthood and also dissolved the concept of priesthood. this equality with non-zadokites (zadokites had never considered non-zadokite israelites, let alone non-israelites to be their equal!) was the main reason for their relentless and brutal opposition to the zadokite israelite prophet muhammad (pbuh) and the early non-israelite muslims. however, Baruch HaShem, we realized our mistake and there is not a single zadokite or israelite who has not been a muslim for 1400 years.

The Malaysian government currently advicing to the afghan that women have the equal rights for education and so others. In Brunei also have hudud and sharia law but still i didn't saw any oppression to women. Women wearing veil is to cover face from dust and sand because in the middle east always have desert storm. If they wear in other countries might just because they already use to it. Then appear the hot one. Pedophile. They didn't even know what it is like in Saudi Arabia during the dark ages. The Jahilliah time. Women needs man to protect them if going outside doesn't care what age. Plus i hear that during the time women age were count after hit puberty.

Even though in a sense you're right, Islam is an updated Judaism. Do not refer to yourself as Jewish, since all the prophets at the time referred to themselves as Muslims such as Musa AS. You referring to yourself as Jewish updated or not means that you have essentially gone astray of the right path just like the people of Israel. Just call yourself a Muslim just like the prophets guided their people to do so.

May Allah Bless her. But you cannot be a Jew and be a Muslim. Where as if you refer to the Children of Israel during Moosas (peace be upon him) times ,they were not Jewish but where Muslims because they submitted to One God Most High and His commands under Moosa (peace be upon him ).Whoever is a Hanif and shuns Shirk is none other than a Muslim.People have attached a Cultral belonging or National belonging to the Word Islam or Muslim ,When its definition is above.

She made a lot of mistakes, may Allah continue to guide her. Judaism as a religion is false. From Prophet Adam, all the way to the last and final Prophet Muhammed, peace and blessings be upon them all, were Muslims and likewise their followers. Their religion was Islam. Most of the jews do not read their own scriptures, their rabbis explain to them by distorting the meaning, changing and misleading their own people. Allah informed us that they took their rabbis as gods besides Allah. They corrupted their books, and claim it is from Allah, they attributed deficiency to The Most High, and they attributed evil and horrible things to the Noble Prophets and Messengers.

Peace be upon you: Firstly, congratulations on your conversion to Islam, and to correct you, if you please, I say: You cannot, sister, say: (I am a Jew and a Muslim) at the same time, because they are two religions that do not coexist with one person, and what is more correct is for you to say: (I am an Israeli Muslim) meaning. From the children of Israel, or from the people of the Prophet, Israel, or Jacob, ( peace be upon him ), and Muslim.

You can be ethnically Jewish. Being religiously Jewish is a different thing though. You can be Jewish ethnically but practice a different religion, or none at all. Our sister here is an example of an ethnically Jewish person who practices Islam religiously.
