I am loving this guitar! It's my new Ibanez AZ2204N

Музыка

What can I say about this guitar? I love it! The neck shape is so perfect! Actually I never expected vintage feel neck from Ibanez. Those Seymour Duncan pickups are so versatile and sounds so tasty! I can't put this guitar down now! What do you think? Love to hear your opinion.

    Like a child with a new toy. 😁 Must feel really great to play. Great bridge, definitely holds it's tuning very well, especially with all of the bar play and deep bends. Humbucker is killing. I like the combo rear when driving. It cuts and it's both rich and smooth, and I love the fact that you basically have 10 pickup choices with that switch. I'll have to check one out next time I see it.

    Tomo, just wanted to say that I am extremely greatful for your master advices like " record and listen to yourself playing" , " Practice as if you perform and stop playing like it's an end of the song" etc. You really helping a lot, your standards are very high and so difficult for me to grasp it but I feel as times goes,progress can be made with practice.(regardless to age) Thank you and have a wonderful weekend!!🙏🎸🌳🎵😊

    @@TomoFujitaMusic you are Awesome Tomo for responding,Thank you! 😀🙏 Yes, multiple time recording and keep the best one only. And the weed analogy is true, I'll keep it in mind. And re-record the same play in different style/rhythm/speed. ..I'm totally into at the moment Muddy Mississippi Waters Band 😎 and E Shuffle Blues. I really would like to play with musicians like them. Also your E Shuffle March on Guitar Wisdom with that silver PRS is totally and beautifully clean, I try to re create that sound when I play. @@PeterKertesz2013 You're welcome! I am not choosing the best one. I play same song 3-4 times to see my consistency and habits or weak decisions on the moment or thinking too much etc. Then I write these points so I will fix those pointes next day. Specially summer.. weeding everywhere! Especially shuffle groove, first I play it as simple as I can and play it slower so I can fix my muting technique. @@TomoFujitaMusic Tomo, thank you for your precious time. I will definitely try your 3-4 takes advise combined with written notes. Just one last question about this please 😊 is the length of each take important in your opinion, as sometimes I record 10-15 long audios? Yes, the slow tempo and careful muting is very important, but you are doing it perfectly. The E shuffle is magical in itself, endless variations, Amazing.😀🙏

    I recently bought an AZ2204NW in mint green, here in Italy, and it is ASTONISHING! Fun is that the one I got as NEW was immaculate, but it is exactly the one Ibanez has used as model to do photoshoots for marketing. So if you look online, on catalogue and in many shops you can see my exact guitar (serial 2021). I love the idea that my guitar was in Japan, posing for the photos, travelling the world and 2 years later it's sold new to me! I really love the versatility of this model from Ibanez. I also own a PRS Silver Sky and a Slash Gibson Les Paul Standard and this is the right complement item at my disposal. Like a "swiss army" guitar :)

    I really like the way the voices of the chords interact on some of those walk-ups. Sounds rich and complex with fingerings that are natural to follow up the neck. That guitar is so versatile and sounds great--almost too many options! So much to explore. I'm glad you showed us the extra switch at the end for even more options. It sounds like there's a little bit of delay (+reverb?) to thicken it up. The notes really sing. And the pickups detect the richness of chord voicings, capturing all the strings very well. You can really hear all of them. The melody notes sound like you could get a violin sound or Allan Holdsworth sort of muscular sustain with a little bit of drive / boost / compression tweaking, too. Put on your heavy fusion hat and pull out the stretchy chords and outside legato lines! And then, when you're ready to dance, with the flip of the switch, go back to making inspired funky jazz chord strums. One man, one guitar, every style!

    So happy to hear that. I really enjoy any conversational music! Piano and vocal or any horns. Those chords are pretty simple. You just need to know "KEY CHORD" on that moment. I like F#-7 E/G# AMaj69, A/B ... a little gospel feel? That part I have learned from real music. You need a few of them. This guitar is so versatile! This video, I am using little reverb pedal from One Control. I have a lot of delay but I don't use it for my sound. Thank you!

    Lovely sound and playing! Do you find the singel coils to be "thin sounding" and also how do you find the balance between neck pickup and humbucker volume wise?

  • @TomoFujitaMusic

    @TomoFujitaMusic

    23 күн бұрын

    You can say that but the single coil tone... all depends how you set up your guitar. If the string height is low then it can make buzz & make a thin tone. The pickup height is also can effect the tone. This case lower the HB pickup a little lower so you can make a good balance.
