They really nailed the tone and music for this film. It’s not like other big action apocalypse films because this one has a strong feeling of loneliness and isolation. It brings much more of an emotional impact

This was the first film I actually cried for. The dog death scene is so impactful.

Such a powerful theme, I can't believe I hadn't paid any attention to it before now

"Fred if you're real you better tell me right now!" Him interacting with the mannequins and having a dog has his only company is just the saddest thing I've watched. T.T

It was stated the dark seekers were the ones who moved fred a few times. But theres also small evidence that a smart dark seeker wore a similar outfit to Fred's once or twice. If you zoom in on some of the scenes with Fred you can see an arm move

No matter how old you are, this movie and this song always go straight into your heart

The Book was called "I am legend" because at the end he realizes that the monsters are sentient, and feared and hated him for the same reason he did them. He was a legend, but an infamous one in their eyes. The alternate ending for the movie also shows this, and I think gives the movie and title a lot more meaning

I don't know how many times I have seen this movie. Far too many that's for sure. But every time it touches my heart and every time I cry. It is a beautiful illustration of loss and loneliness and the many imperfections of humanity. I could listen to this song a hundred times and still not get over how beautiful it is

The scene when he kills the dog... Damn... Sam was his only friend, also it was the dog of his dead little daughter... This movie is awesome and very sad. When I watch it, I always know what's gonna happen, but I always "kinda hope" things to be diferent :'(

1:43 I always felt like video games/movies/TV shows/media in general always had some tactical military music from the time period of 2009-2013 that sounds like something straight out of games like COD MW2. I loved the years 2009-2013, they were just so... classic.

For anyone who disliked the ending... There is an Alternative ending...obviously for multiple reasons they went with the sad one.. but yeah check out the alternative, it may put your mind a rest:) Unfortunately...the dog dies either way -_-

In the book he only finds a dog and it sticks around a couple days. No real connection unlike the movie. Samantha was his last tie to his personal humanity. When she died he lost all of his remaining hope. While it was sad that she died and we cried over it.....we were crying bc at that moment all of us felt like him.

Loved both ending (1)shows us the value of sacrifice of once life for the better ones out there/2)the others shows us, no matter what life has to offer you keep on having hope and keep on going youll finally make it out,time heals everything.

writing this at 1/30/21, after more than 1 year since corona virus started... I watched the movie in cinema in 2007, but now you can see it in real life and feel the pain and saddens. Hope the entire world will wake up from this nightmare. Keep it up safe all of you!

Looking back and thinking about how this moving came out 13 years ago makes me feel old lol. I remember watching this as a kid, it was one of my favorites and still is. Will Smith is one bad ass actor.

i've watched this movie about 17 times...and I still love it! It thing I watch this an 18th.

Just finished reading the book and it didn't disappoint what so ever! Film is good but book is minding blowing! The twist is amazing!

If there is a death in any movie, then that it an awesome masterpiece. The death of Sam in this movie is somehow more emotional even than the death of a human being to some extents. “I am legend” could make to feel the emotion more strongly. One of the best movies ever.

if Will Smith isn't in it the movie won't be the same, he made this movie as amazing as it was and now it's my favourite movie of all time because of him. Oh and the dog making me cry every time I watch it :P

The ending was sad....He died to protect the kid and mother even though his wife and boy were still alive in the Survivor camp in maine.

No matter how many times I listen to this, tears always come.

Name one person with Corona who's done that, he also survived through this for 3 years and had a dog. While we have families and know that we'll be fine soon. Anyone who puts a dog above people has some issues. The only reason why he was so attached to the dog in this movie is because he had NO ONE left.
