~~Measurements~~
We are using an A2 sized card bas that is 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
We cut a card mat from pattern paper that measures 4" x 5 1/4"
We used two strips:
One from solid color cardstock cut to 3/4" x 6"
One from gold glitter cardstock cut 1" x 6"

That is a gorgeous card! I love those Mintay papers, they got it on!!!
The Mintay paper reminds me of the wallpaper sample books my parents had when I was a child. My sisters and brother and I used them as carpeting and wall coverings on the cardboard Barbie houses we built. We were financially poor but rich in imagination and creativity. I would love to have those books now...what lovely greeting cards I could make! God is so very good!

I remember when you could go to stores that sold wall paper and they would give you the last season’s books for free. I tried a few years back and they were selling them way too expensively. I would love to find some vintage books at estate sales.

My Mom use to make all kinds of stuff out of those wall paper books. Cards. Ornaments. She wallpapered my doll house. Little paper fans.
I love the mat! I also really love that vintage floral paper.. it reminds me of the wallpaper folks used to have.. lol I am old! Love your videos.
I got a white one back last year in that size, and I love it. It is so smooth and untextured - and it mixes media perfectly.

Yes! I agree that the first thing that came to mind wall paper books! I remember playing with them for doll houses too! Plus when my daughter was young and I have Girl Scout troop we made lots of crafts from old wall paper books.. I think that’s how my love for paper crafting started lol!

I love the French floral and any vintage looks in paper. I will check out this Mintay paper pack. Also, I love the glass mat. I think it works well. I do see a little shadow, but once you start to crafting, it is no longer an issue. I think I will check out that glass mat as well.

That's right Vinnie, it's just paper, you get more joy out of using it than sitting it on the shelf and when you recycle the scraps they can make more pretty papers for you to put on your shelf. Vinnie you are a wise man. And I love your laugh too.

Beautiful! I love the glass mat; I can not see a glare at all. I turn my border punches upside down when I punch. I can see exactly where is punched and where is not punched.

I have been using my border punches for years, double sided too, but I never thought of nesting them. I love it!
I wouldn't be without my desk top vacuum, I've never seen another person use one until today. Love the dynamic between you three, I always press the thumbs up as instructed but I mean it too. Liz innthe UK

Oh my goodness! I Remember the live "sky coma" show. 😅🤣😍 I didn't see this live.. so. I'm not guessing... the New mintay 6x8, are All gorgeous 😍 I'm hoping to order soon. I want to try the Barely Art glue. I like the description, and, I have my AGG... I learned to order more than I think I need. Michigan never thaws early enough to risk running out. I have 2 favorites- AGG, and Nuvo.
