As an immigrant who established in Toronto since 1999, I am very proud to be a Canadian. This country has provided me with every opportunity that I could ask for. People often complaint about the high taxes, but as a person who lives in Canada, I believe every tax money is being well spent and I am happy to pay for it. Although my life in Canada is drawing to a conclusion as I am moving to US for a next career, I shall live with a unprecedented proud as a Canadian wherever I go. Thank you Canada, you are my home and I am very proud to call myself as a CANADIAN.

Na-Ryum Bin As a Canadian whose father's family came here in the 1650's & whose mother's family came in the 1850's, & whose family therefore built this country, I say to you that I recognize you as a fellow Canadian because of your attitude. Doesn't matter what race or religion you are or where you came from, you have made yourself into one of us. It's all about your state of mind, my brother or sister, just state of mind. Too bad too many new immigrants aren't anywhere near to being like you, & are perfectly comfortable saying so. When you leave, take one last, long look. Canada is disappearing right before our eyes. I, for one, will miss it. And I'll miss you. 😢

I love this fun beer commercial. It is meant to be humorous. When I read the hateful comments it is very sad to think there are so many untraveled ignorant people out there. Please for you commenting haters that are American - this commercial is not aimed at you. As Canadians travel around the world we are hit with every one of these stereotyping comments from "Do you live in an igloo?" to "What is a toque?" As Canadians we do see the humor in it. Concerning the comments about how we as Canadians treat our Indigenous People; many First Nations people and white people live together in harmony. In fact I come from a mixed family and I am proud of that fact. Our governing policies may not be perfect but we do not live in a dictatorship and First Nation's people have a voice. We are evolving and growing as an international community within one country. As proud Canadians (First Nations, white and all minorities) we can find humor in ourselves, relax and have a beer together after a hard day on the ice fields. Those igloos don't build themselves eh!
