We lost 13 lives, unnecessarily, and left 80 billion dollars of military equipment to be used against the Taliban enemies. The only problem with the infrastructure act is that very little of that money has actually been used for the infrastructure. Forgiving student loans is ridiculous. especially when our tax dollars would be spent supporting the current pro Palestine protestors, while preventing other students from even going to classes or participating in graduation ceremonies. That's money well spent (sarcasm intended).

The time of lifetime appointed unelected kings of the Supreme Court is over.

Not to be hypocritical... but aren't we defending Judge Merchan's neutrality in presiding over the President by disregarding his daughter's political activity- because Judge Merchan is politically separated? Aren't we defending President Biden's integrity, by pointing out his son made terrible decisions, not him? Yes; I worry about their neutrality. But just as I believe we can have 19 impartial jurors found in New York for Trump's hush-money trial.. I also want to believe that our Supreme Court Justices, while having viewpoints that may influence what they perceive as 'right' or proper interpretations, can be impartial as well. And that's a strength.

Term limits won't keep out bad judges. We need a serious vetting process for all positions in government and judicial system so we can cut way down on this sort of nonsense and a much easier way to remove them if they do cross lines. Now that people live longer I'd suggest nobody under 55 or 60 be allowed on the bench and a certain amount of time in lower courts be achieved before they can even be considered.

Like Judge Merchan in the Trump case? After all, his daughter does run Authentic Campaigns, whose clients in include Dan Goldman, Kamala Harris, Adam Shiff, the DNC. Slow walking the case? Some J6 defendants are still in pre-trial detention for 40 months, for misdemeanor trespassing charges. The documents case in FL... The defence has 13 MILLION PAGES (that's equivalent to 7.6 Washington Monuments tall or 0.8 miles (1300M), and 4TB OF VIDEO TO REVIEW. Every defendant, including Trump, has the right to due process. Remember, we live in a republic where every single citizen has rights. Whether you like the guy are not is irrelevant. The State does not have to right to a speedy trial. The Defendant has the right to a fair trial. So far, Judge Cannon in FL is the only judge who seems to be impartial and fair.

The appointment to the federal bench should be for life, with a retirement age of 80, but tenure of justices on the Supreme Court should be for six year terms. After that the justice steps down and returns to the federal Court of Appeal, and a new justice is appointed from the federal Court of Appeal. These clowns, shoved on by McConnell, and who are just ignoring the rule of law, have to be held to account.

Just imagine having a Supreme Court deemed contemptible by most of the country.

Expanding the court would only dilute responsibility, making accountability even more unlikely than it already is.

You set up institutions without checks and balances, and one side decided to exploit that. Go figure. If you are a nation of laws, there should be no person, position or institution outside their reach.

Justices should be removed as soon as they are caught lying. When they were interviewed for the job by senators, they said that Roe v Wade was settled law. They were going to leave that alone. Of course, they overturned it as soon as possible.

Supreme Court is out of control. Something needs to be done

they need a super majority to impeach the judges that means 60+ senitors basicly 2/3rds majority in both houses to remove them from office the only other way to get rid of them is set term limits on the supreme court and expand the court and doing that would be easier and having the supreme court be subject to propper ethics regulation like the lower courts were 3 major violations can force a resignation or removal from court these things need to be voted upon by all houses to correct this

Evidence has to be gathered, witnesses have to be interviewed, hours upon hours of tape to watch, it's a very long list of procedures first. Take into consideration all those in the GQP who refused to appear and are actively working to obstruct any investigation. Maybe you are too young to remember Watergate, it took years....
