I love ALL things American, barring the politics etc, so the Jeep Gladiator was always going to be my vibe. It is over the top in every way. It commands a presence that no other bakkie in South Africa can. It has so many faults, but I might be willing to overlook them if just for the fun of it. Look, I wouldn't spend this kind of money for it, but I would like to be gifted a Gladiator so that I can keep it at my holiday house (which I also still need to get). I don't want to have to drive it on the highway, but I do want to cruise along the coast listening to the Beach Boys. Just living my best Gladiator life.

Yay! Finally another Jeep review. Jeeps are different, the saying it’s true, “it’s a Jeep thing, you wouldn’t understand”. They aren’t that comfortable, economical, luxurious but they are fun to drive and make you feel like a kid again. It’s like a Lego but only for adults. This bakkie is not trying to compete with the ranger or hilux, it’s for people that want something unique and special. Great review.

Absolutely awesome ! So much more character and life than boring electric and hybrid vehicles. Long live the internal combustion engine ! This vehicle may not suit sensible folk but those of us that still enjoy living and breathing what a beast to own and use especially when you don't need all of it's gizmos. 😄 Most fun review yet. Many thanks.

You must see in the US, people putting massive V8s in them with superchargers. Also massive tires. They are cool trucks, something completely different. I prefer different 😊

1. After your I love America rant, what would've been funny is if you played and sang to "Sweet Home Alabama" 2. Jeep people buy Jeeps cause they are Jeeps. Not cause theres nothing else more practical on the market. To think that way isnt very Jeep. remember the maths (Jeep = person not practical) 3. I think its cheaper and more American to invade a country that has oil than it is to fill up a Jeep Gladiator
