All these people hating & making derogatory comments!🤯😩🥺 If you don’t want to listen- fine- don’t. Take your hating computer voices, & go & listen to someone who speaks their first language as one you can automatically understand. Personally, I’d rather learn as much as I can about new growing techniques & how this gardener achieves the growth they do! I appreciate the fact that making videos are time-consuming - I also appreciate, English isn’t everyone’s 1st language, or one they feel confident speaking in. Therefore, the sharing info must be even harder. So, I know how much time this kind guy will put in to their videos and the sharing of info. If you hate it that much, pls, leave those of us who understand why it’s likely used, & are more interested in the learning. Who knows- this person may even have a speech problem, or different ability so *have* to use a ‘computer voice.’ Does that grate on you, & get on your nerves too??🤔 Pls, go & be mean somewhere else. Try & be respectful of those of us who teach, and those of us who want to learn- in whatever language. Ty

I've seen when vining cucumbers, cutting the lower leaves is fine and encouraged. I've been pruning them the last few days, I guess we'll see how they do in the coming weeks

I do too, but lately I've been noticing in these gardening videos that have computer voices, it's a translated narration that otherwise would be in a non English voice. So I've accepted the computer voices for that reason.

@@_trailskitchen6380 don’t use a computer voice, it’s so grating to listen to. If you don’t want to use your own voice then have words that people can read and maybe nice music. So much better than jarring computer voices.

You take the one flower with no small cucumber on it and polunate the one with the cucumber going. If you are getting cucumbers that die before maturity ,that means bees didn't pollinate them.

Hey, amazing video, thank you! Is it better if I remove the first flower buds from pumpkin plant as well? I see the pumpkin plant is really small still (had to remove all first leaves as well because of yellowing after transplanting to full sun...) but it tries to bear fruit already - not every pumpkin variety, but one of mine. Better to remove all first flowers? There is both male and female flowers (little pumpkins behind).

@@mandywescott707 I was researching for it on the internet and yes indeed, removing the first 2-3 female flowers allows the plant to develop further and stronger, so that it would put out more uniform pumpkins later - but variety could play a role - if it is strong enough and transplantation has been without problems, this is less important. I removed first flowers from mine because leaves had turned yellow in the full sun (no shadowing, shadowing would help right after planting) so had to remove leaves and plant growth has been delayed. Also, some grow pumpkins for competition - the bigger, the better - in that case they say it is even best to remove all the flowers on the vine upto 7 feet and then allow it to fruit with couple of pumpkins only (removing later ones as well as pruning lateral vines prob but there has to be some leaf mass obviously to feed the plant). I'm not going for that.
