I think most of us know that feeling of losing more than we planned quite well. I usually would have a lump in my throat & am totally quiet the entire drive home, in disbelief. I try to save up a few hundred that I'm prepared to lose. It's also smart to leave your ATM card at home, so you don't have even more regrets.

One of the reasons that I like watching Daniel play is because when he wins he usually plays down the hundred dollar and then takes his winnings and leaves. I always had trouble stopping when I won. I would play it all down and end up at zero. Using "Daniels method" I give myself a hard cut off--play down to the hundred or fifty number and then get off the machine. When I say play to the fifty--I mean I have like 186.00 after the bonus, I will play to 150.00. I have learned to have more self control after watching Daniel.

I even rewatched it and was on verge of tears for Daniel’s win. I watch every night. I also try the “Daniel method”. I have an hour session limit w a set bankroll then if I hit a bonus or jackpot play down. But I’m so “scared” of giving back $100 I play down to an even number. 🤣🤣

Your sharing of the lady in the casino ... I felt that to my core. I've been that person. Not necessarily playing more than I should BUT playing and not getting anything...and, I get that is part of the game ... but, sometimes I just feel like what the heck, can't I get a break!? As I watched the wheel spin around I saw him actually pray at the table. It just about broke my heart. He won the bet, I walked around and chatted with him and told him to please take the money he won and go home. I told him the casino will eventually get your money in the long run. He thanked me and cashed out. I have often wondered whatever happened to him. Your story reminded me of that. Keep being you and don’t listen to the nonsense people will say.
