I hade that same light and the bugs killed us! I switched over to the devo lights and are much happier! Keep it! Holla at me when your coming back to Az! 🤙🏾

Enjoyed your video this week! I have an OVS 270 with walls. I highly recommend the walls to give you that needed shade! Great video

Glad you enjoyed it! I've been heavily debating on the 270 walls OR just getting a free standing awning with bug net walls as a separate living room. I cant wrap my mind around paying ~$200 per wall for the 270 (which requires 2 walls for this one I believe) especially when i've found free standing awnings with bug net walls for under $200 lol buying the walls would be a space saver though.....

I love Willow Beach and Black Canyon on the Colorado River. I’ll go paddleboard camping upriver from there and hit up the hot springs. Need to explore more of Lake Mojave though. Great video!

Wife and I enjoy watching your videos. We live in Vegas and seen you on the freeway last week. Wife and I both looked at each other and said, hey, thats the guy on KZread. I gave you a thumbs up. Hopefully you didn’t think i was flipping you off Lol I was driving a Silver Jeep Grand Cherokee with red traction boards mounted on top.

Just a little further is Templebar campground. We were there Memorial Day weekend, and there were plenty of nice sites available. Nice campsites with a lot of trees and shrubs. Don't tell anybody.

Agreed! Temple bar is a great option and probably one of my favorite campgrounds in Lake Mead

Further up the river it gets colder. Rented a pontoon boat last season

I'm not going to say the name either, but here's another (extremely) obscure clue for your viewers: One of your KZread colleagues, RVerTV, has done several videos of the Lake Mead area. He did a video in which he ...... drove right by that turnoff, but didn't go down it. He talked about it as he went by. If you watched that video, you'll know exactly where that dirt road is.

I’m not a dog sitter. But if you need a place for your dog to stay while you do adventures. My home is open for her. I have 5 dogs. 2 brother and sister Shepard husky mix. 3 are chihuahua size. Big yard open 24/7 with doggy door. But of course have to make sure all gets along fine. I live behind the foothills high school. On another note, wife and I went to Lovelle. Canyon last weekend because of your videos. She loved the scenery and found spots that we can take our motor home to.

Maybe one day? The truck only has about 135k on him right now so we got some time. I've heard those swaps arent cheap lol

The Mosquito candles and coils do seem to work but it's wild this summer how many are out! The huge amount of moisture has really created a bug friendly climate, especially around lakes. Have you found any other methods to setup a perimeter?

Agreed! All this moisture has created the perfect environment for these guys lol And I havent seen anything else that works other than getting a bug net for our 270 awning or buying one of those enclosed awnings with bug net walls which i'm very tempted to do if these bugs are like this all summer! I'm open to suggestions though if you find anything better :)

Was it difficult to mount that awning to the GFC? It's the OVS 270, ya? I'm thinking of getting this for my GFC but I have no idea how to even begin to mount it. Thanks!

Yeah.. it was a little difficult lol initially I used a ladder to help hold one side of it up at first... it didnt work out so great haha so I held it in place while my wife screwed in the bolts, the awning is about 80lbs... I was drenched in sweat by the time we were done. It also didnt help that i had to mount it TWICE bec I didnt move the bracket far enough back (all my bad i should have measured better) AND the 3rd time I ended up having to move it back a bit more bec it wouldnt open all the way :) Lots of trial and error mostly all my fault for trying to rush hahah

I was looking online for this toilet and I think the prices have just sky rocketed on it because i'm seeing these go for $80 these days which is crazy!! We bought this thing over 5 years ago so its pretty old and I don't think we paid over $40 for it at the store when we bought it originally. its a solid toilet though after all these years lol never failed us
