@@jynniitAhh, that's exactly what I thought of! I didn't want to just say it in case it was unintentional, and I was being rude. I also saw a little bit of neon genesis Evangelion from the beach boss! I think the narration at the beginning of each battle really adds a lot to the general feel of the game, too! Unfortunately, I won't be able to play it as I'm on android/ps4, but I hope content creators like olexa do more videos on it. I connect to this because while I'm not a gardener myself, my mom is pretty avid about gardening.

So the theme is "social anxiety, but overcoming it by spending time to wind down and prepare by doing your hobby"? Video games might get too relatable

I am into all the interconnecting systems in this, and I like the visual style and theming. Some things definitely need more polish, but this has some very interesting potential.

After watching the video, my points for the game are: 1. It needs a lot of polish work when it comes to different things. As an example, watered plants shouldn't have a chance to lose health and die if they have 1 health left since you spent your time taking care of them (watering them), and if you invested so much time upgrading them, etc. and they just die with 1 health after watering them, it's like the game telling you "touch luck, now grow a new one." 2. All dying of plants, weeds growing, etc. should be at the start of the day, not at the end of it since you won't be able to do anything if you have 4+ weeds grow and you now start the next battle with junk cards in your deck and a good card gone due to a plant dying. It's a little too punishing at that point since RNG can ruin your deck a bait here with the weeds and dying plants, and I don't need my own deck messed up when the game decides to have 2 water plants die on me and grow 4+ weeks which changes my deck going into next battle with 2 good cards gone and replaced with 4+ junk cards already. 3. For the Constellation bar where you rest, I think it's shouldn't both cost an action and auto-end your turn when you rest. Best I can say on this is that resting doesn't cost an action, but still end your turn since that would mean you can only play 1 card that entire turn and if an enemy is going to hit you for a big attack next turn, you might not be able to add enough shields to block it. 4. I didn't see any chances to heal the character at all in this video. The garden should have a vendor like a spa or something that can heal you for 35% max health or something since I don't think I could carry 35 max HP throughout 10+ battles without healing, especially if in one battle along, I lose almost all of my health and am now expect to do the last 3+ battles with 1 HP left. It can also add a rest day where you don't do anything in the garden and just rest. 5. As for the garden itself, some improvements I could see is: A. Have a way to increase the garden size from 4x4 to maybe like 5x5 or bigger. Having more space to add new plants can help you be able to get more cards for your deck at the cost of more weeds going on it, etc. but if you are willing to manage it, I can see a bigger garden being a thing here. B. Constating needing to spend water on upgrades each day and plants dying too quickly makes it feel like you could get weaker later on in a run if you best plant cards die and are removed from the game due to RNG or something, especially if you water them. Currently, I can't tell if the game is doing too much of one thing and not enough of another (for example, having more take on the gardening sim side with its managing and less on the cards for deckbuliding since the garden is your deck, only getting 10 water each day and limiting you to decide what to focus on since water is used on 3+ different things in the garden, etc.), I'm struggle to figure out if I need to focus more on one thing or another to enjoy the game and win a run (Do I spend water keeping plants alive with the chance they will still die at the end of the day with 1 health, but new plants to replace ones with 1 HP, etc.) That's just my 2 cents on the topic. I know this isn't a place for feedback on the game, but that's what I notice among watching and finishing the video. I hope the developers will be able to continuing working on the game and improve it so that it's more enjoyable by full release, whenever that is.

Love the genre, so I gotta say shields carrying over is a hella big mistake. That's like a high end power in other games. Concentrate on that here and you'll never lose health.

Shield's carrying over /can/ be a major benefit, but it's more down to how the game is balanced than an inherent property of the choice, in much the same way that healing after combat can make the game easier or MUCH harder. It's also worth remembering that in most games with temporary shielding, both the player and the enemies have the same limitation, so just the player gaining permanent shields is a major power boost. In this game, it applies to both the player and enemies, so it's also something you have to play around.
