I-95 COLLAPSE: A tanker fire causes portion of I-95 to collapse in Philadelphia

European countries spend 5% of GDP on infrastructure, China spends roughly 8% - the U.S. 2.4%. There was a time when we spent like 12%

We can also throw in the part about how poorly designed regulations guarantee that infrastructure development is much slower and more expensive than in European countries.
Probably took fire service an hour looking at the fire before they did anything like they do in house fires.
Not the first time. Anyone remember the tire fire in Port Richmond a couple of decades ago that closed half of 95 in Philadelphia for years? I do!

@desertPerson it gets fixed in the US too. In my state there is a bridge that is unused and they still fixed it. Some Americans are just pessimistic and don't have gratitude and their ungratefulness is projected onto other things outside themselves. Jd Money sees a bridge collapse due to fire and now no American bridges are ever fixed, which is false.
Same thing happened with the tire fire under i95 years ago. The cement can't take the heat.

No! It was most likely some explosion that cut steel. Concrete can burn, but steel would still be holding up with a fire. Gas fires don't melt steel that fast. It should have taken some time for the fire to melt the steel and Concrete and there is no video footage of fire trucks putting out the fire to then have it collapse. It was totally explosives.

@@localfixx4184 Yup. Still no video of any truck, sounds like the plane that never hit the Pentagon, yet the Gov said it did and would never release the 80 plus video camera files. Bak then not everyone was using their phones to take video. Today, we should have tons of video of the tanker being dragged from the under part of the overpass, but no. Nothing. Red flag!

What did Trump do besides waste money on a wall that was never built. Just gave contracts to people who took the money and did nothing. 😂 Besides the Greed Over People party does everything to cut the purse strings for anything to build this country. They just cut taxes for the wealthy and deals to allow corporations to kill us slowly.
We need a truck 🛻 load of water 💦 hoses to put out a little fire 🔥, it want take long jimmy is urinating on the fire 🔥 as we speak 🗣️ seriously 😳
Our bridges collapse and roads are destroyed. That I-95 section is a new construction and they are working on it from Obama time and it’s sad to see it collapsed due to fire. We need our nation to start building new bridges, high ways and modern railway networks. Nation looks old when compared to other Asian countries infrastructure and these politicians are destroying our cities and nation by spending and supporting useless wars instead of spending money in national building..
