Impressive -- the Twin cities area looks massive -- very sprawled out, and clean! I'll have to get up there to visit sometime soon, preferably in the summer!..lol

Love this stretch of road, especially at night. Although one part of your video had me quite miffed: I have been quite a connoisseur to the Twin Cities' highways and roads for many years, down to the point where I thought I know mostly all the routes and designations. However, I just now learned that MN Highway 55 does not technically run through downtown, but instead runs with I-94 through the Lowry Hill Tunnel and skirts downtown. You learn something new every day, I guess.

Hello, thank you for your reply. I thought a parkway was a carpark ( you'd call it a parking lot I think ) I like watching videos of your freeways ( motorways here ) they are so wide and, look like a pleasure to drive on, unlike here where potholes look like craters with roads jam packed everyday. Our motorways have just 3 lanes in each direction, not built for the volume of traffic now. And, unlike in the U.S.A petrol is so expensive. The equivalent per gallon would cost you a good $11 but, here we buy by the litre at £1 30. And, that price changes everyday

Sounds rough. I can see why your trains are so much more popular. If gasoline costed that much out here we'd have to rebuild a few of the old railroads. Though it might not be Texas, I'd still like to see the motorways of Scotland and Edinburgh someday.

I'll finally be back up in MN again when I start my sophomore year of college on September 4th. I can't wait for that! One thing I was wondering about: is there an actual sign on that segment of 94 with the distances to Milwaukee, Chicago, and Detroit like the one you showed at 5:14?

Here’s my list for the top 5 most needed MnPass lanes in the Twin Cities5. MN 77 (Cedar Avenue) 4. The rest of I-35E (Don’t think the parkway area would happen though). 3. 494 from 169 to the airport. 2. The rest of 35W Honorable Mentions: I-694, US 52, MN 252, MN 62 1. I-94 from Minneapolis to St. Paul. Busiest roadway in the state!Do you think I wouldn’t choose I-94?

Well MnPass no longer exists unfortunately, but Minnesota is adapting E-ZPass now! And I have a few notes about your list. 1. I-35E in Dakota County is less congested and it's still a safe road, except the Parkway south of downtown St Paul. But no need for those tolled lanes there. 2. I-494 is indeed getting an E-ZPass Lane between the US-169 and the Mall Of America area pretty soon! 3. There are still a few gaps on I-35W where there are currently no E-ZPass Lanes. MnDOT should add them between the St. Anthony Bridge and MN-36, and Circle Pines to the Columbus split. Of course, there shouldn't be some in downtown Minneapolis, specifically its junction with I-94 and the spaghetti interchange near the U.S. Bank Stadium. 4. There are indeed plans for the tolled lanes on MN-77, aka. Cedar Ave. 5. Oh goodness, no thank you for E-ZPass Express Lanes on I-94, please!! They currently don't have them and it never should.

***** Most people in the city use their blinkers. But they don't use them until they're actually going to turn or change lanes. It'd be far too much of a hassle and misimpression if they used blinkers the way that the book says to do up in the twin cities or any bigger city for that matter.

St. Paul is for lesbians and Minneapolis is for gays. Otherwise the state has never been segregated. You do have to be careful if you are a man in a St. Paul gay bar because lesbians can be very territorial. Just kidding. Seriously though a group of them almost beat me up because I was encroaching on their pool table area. I was just sitting there watching a video. I'm stereotyping to amuse myself but the story is true. In reality gays are all over in the suburbs too. Everything seems gay lately so I thought I'd add some LGBT info, perhaps it was the Disco music.
